MTR Sai Ying Pun Station

Rejoice: the shiny new MTR station is open in Sai Ying Pun!
The first time I accessed this station, I unknowingly walked several blocks out of my way and up, up the hill to the Bonham St. entrance.
Never making that mistake again!
If you’re closer to the harbour like me, all you have to do is walk over to the A2 entrance/​exit located on Des Voeux Road West, between Eastern and Wilmer streets.
Keep in mind, this station covers an expansive section of real estate, which means you’ll walk for a bit to get to the trains and the escalators are the super long ones. Not sure if this is a forever feature, but there are attendants near the C entrance/​exit at Bonham Rd, who guide you up and down the elevators… take a breath and relax on them, cause they’re driving! All you have to do is follow their directive to a waiting elevator.
Being brand new, this station is gloriously clean and at times, eerily empty. Enjoy it while it lasts!
