Sorabol Korean Restaurant

We would order the set menu for lunch for a party of 4. However they will bring banchan for only 4 to share. However they will only refill 2 of the dishes. Went again with a party of 3 and they had given us 2 sets of banchan so it’s very INCONSISTENT! Service is mediocre. Set Lunches everyone should be entitled to their own side dishes and NOT just 2 refills. Servers needs to be more knowledgable and consistent!

Come here quite often mainly for lunch. Overall the food is generally good but the service can be a hit or miss. Lunch time periods during weekdays between 12:30 — 13:30 can get really packed due to the people working in and around the airport area.
Set lunches are good and quite reasonably priced for what you get. Had the bibimbap on numerous occasions and it is just OK. If you like spicy food, they are also good as well and flavors are quite authentic.
Dinners are similar to the lunch menu. BBQ are good, and love the marinated beef short ribs. Unfortunately, this is the only marinated beef items they have on the menu and wish they had more. Shrimp and the chicken is also good.

Arrived at the airport early for my evening flight, so we decided to have dinner first since I am not a big fan of airplane food. This one is located in terminal 2, ground floor underneath the centre escalator.
It’s before 6pm, so the place is pretty quiet, yet the servers seem to be nowhere to be found. Anyway, finally sat down and ordered the set dinner. It’s a simple menu and doesn’t have a lot of variety.
The side dishes came first, it’s the standard fares, nothing too exciting. Then the main course. I like it that each set comes with the steamed egg, which is fluffy and steaming. The stone bowl bibimbop was really yummy, and the beef rib was tasty and tender. The ginseng chicken lacks flavour though.
All in all, it’s not bad for an airport joint. I will come back
