I can see one of the waiter he really doesn’t like Chinese, the way he treat them talk to them, even make laugh at them. Unfortunately, so many Chinese people who are speaking mandarin go there and eat. I just wonder that how can he work happily everyday face to face those Chinese people from mainland China, despite let your customer happy, forget about it, come on, you are in black face very day. Hehe. Just quit from this job it’s better for you isn’t it? Cause I can see everyday you are struggling: p

Delicious, inexpensive, simple, and fast. I’m a fan. Came here for a working lunch with 6 other colleagues. It was busy, but we were able to grab the large table right near the front door. The menus were in Chinese and English, though the server didn’t speak much English so nuances of an order might be lost beyond what you can convey by pointing. Our food came in less than 10 minutes. To drink, I tried the watercress honey(cold)($ 17) which was delicious — lightly sweet and a nice refreshing taste to match with my order: the maximum spicy strength chicken lunch set($ 56). This came with a large bowl of noodles(you need to specify the type, and I opted for rice noodle as I don’t prefer the way potato noodles slither unbidden down the throat!) Noodles are topped with chopped spring onion, coriander(cilantro), peanuts, and ground meat(pork or beef). Under the bed of fat rice noodles was a ton of chilli paste, hot oil, and sour, flavourful broth. Served alongside was a portion of cold, sichuan style chicken with pepper flakes, hot oil, spring onion, and a smattering of peanuts. Chicken comes bone-in so be ready for chopstick manipulations. Colleagues had similar noodle-and-meat pairings, including marinated pig ear, or noodle-and-egg pairings. The century eggs served with garlic looked good. So did an order of the cold shredded chicken noodles. That colleague ordered hers extra spicy as well, and it actually came loaded with fiery red chillis! Everything was flavourful and for a spice lover, it was refreshing to find something that was actually spicy here in Hong Kong! Often, I order«extra spicy» and it’s only mild. Are they holding back on me cause I’m white??? Poor gwailo can’t handle it? Yes I can! Bring it! Here, the food was actually hot. In fact, it made my nose run in that awesome way. You’ll only get one small napkin and have to pay for extras, so bring your own. Also, I couldn’t finish my serving because the size was so generous, so I got a box in which to take it home. That’s an additional $ 1. The server even took the check away to reprint it with the added $ 1. So the place may be cheap, but it’s good for a spicy, satisfying, quick lunch.
