Hands down — THEBESTBRUNCHBUFFET in Kowloon. Fresh omelets made to order. Fresh waffles and/or crepes. Fresh OJ and impeccable service.

The gold building was impressive as we pulled up in our airport shuttle. We were greeted first by the bellman who got our luggage and then immediately by the desk staff as we walked into the lobby. Check-in was fast and easy. Everyone we encountered during our 2-night stay was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was nicely decorated for the holiday season. Our room was on the 19th floor and had a nice view of Canton Road and Kowloon Park. The room wasn’t huge but very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had decent water pressure. They supplied every toiletry one might need, even a toothbrush. The room was very quiet even being located on a main road. The breakfast buffet at Café on the Park had a lot of variety from western breakfasts(bacon, eggs, sausage, omelets, etc) to more traditional Chinese breakfast(noodles, chicken, rice, etc) and everything in between. There was a good selection of fruits, pastries and cheeses with crackers. Tea and coffee were served by a very efficient waitstaff. I don’t believe the location of this hotel could be any better. There is a shopping mall below the hotel, plus all the designer stores just a block or two down Canton and Nathan Roads. The ferry terminal and a bus stop are also downstairs. It was an easy walk to both the Austin and Tsim Sha Tsui subway stops as well as to the waterfront for the nightly light show and Avenue of the Stars. Check out was slightly tougher mainly because it was 5:30am. But I attribute some of the confusion to the time since only one of the front desks was open at that hour. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would choose R-Pac if we are able to visit the Hong Kong area again.
