QQ Rice

Loved it!
I was at the airport looking for something to go, and I saw this shop close to section F. They offer a small variety of rice ball that’s great for a quick breakfast/​lunch.
I ordered a brown rice ball with pork neck and corn, and it strikes a great balance between being healthy and being tasty. The meat was tender, the rice has a little flavor to it that doesn’t make you feel like you just had a load of soy sauce.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something that’s quick and healthy.

Had:
Fish balls — 9 balls for $ 13 HKD? Something like that. Balls were pretty good.
kimchi pork rice in soup — $ 30 HKD. This was AMAZING. I can’t stress that enough.
Rice in soup is my new favorite thing. The basic ingredients seem to be rice, broth, veggies and meat. This one in particular was purple rice mixed with white rice in a flavorful (I’m assuming pork) broth with ground pork, kimchi, corn, straw mushrooms (I think that’s what those round mushrooms are called), and I believe there were green onions. Slightly spicy, but only just. The mix was incredible. And for the portion, super cheap. It came piping hot and it only took them about three minutes to assemble.
It would have been a five star review, but the service was slightly slow (we were in a rush and it seemed like they were just taking their time socializing with other customers, etc.) and they neglected to give me the drink (coffee or tea) that came with my meal until I asked them for it.
Side note: they also had a fairly decent looking soft pork bone rice with corn set for $ 29 HKD. Prepackaged and hot. They also had the rice in soup, but with pork neck meat. $ 32 HKD.
Cheapest, most delicious airport food I’ve ever had. I wish I could take the whole store back on the plane with me. Must find rice soup in Toronto.
