Paisano’s Pizzeria

I ordered the pizza margarita. The crust was burnt on most of the bottom and the few pieces that weren’t burnt were so so.

Surprisingly really good pizza for Hong Kong!
I called ahead my order and they said it would be ready in 30 min. Walked down and it was there waiting for me. The pizza was really good. Especially after eating only Chinese food for a week! We also ordered the lasagna and it was pretty good!
Only thing is that it’s kind of expensive but it is in a tourist part of town and anything western is more expensive.

Fancy a slice of pizza but you are kind of fed up with all those ‘creative’ pizza choices Pizza H*t has to offer? I mean, seriously, some pizzas there were probably invented like this: «Hey, we are running out of ideas what else to put on a pizza, how about we throw in some pawns, pineapples, and crab sticks on it and see if it will be a hit? Yum!»
Thankfully there still quite a few pizza places that stick with the original ones and Paisano’s Pizzeria is one of them. The choices here are very traditional — Manhattan, godfather, pepperoni, etc. Anything you can think of but not too out of the box. The décor here is rather authentic — with the stove and wooden tables and chairs. It certainly does not aim at creating those high-​end, often times off putting atmosphere. Paisano’s Pizzeria wants its customers to have a big slice of pizza while having a beer or a coke, chatting with your friends in such a care-​free, relaxing environment.
Notice that the service here is just as ‘care-​free’ so do not expect much from the staff, they can be quite… straight forward… anyways, the best part about this place is the size of the slices. Some can be as big as your face! Like literally! Though it is not as thick (in a good way), you will still find one slice very filling already. So let go of all your table manner and get ready to get your hands all covered in cheese!
