Ovolo Southside

Loved this place. Stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. Very hip, great art, and design sense. Room was a pretty good size and the views were awesome.
Breakfast was awesome, my favorite was the congee (rice porridge– if you haven’t had it before try it!!!), and the bar up top has a nice cheese plate if you choose to stay local one night. Also: free soda, water, and beer awaits in your fridge every day! Awesome.
Great to be a bit away from the chaotic parts of the city, and the bus to Causeway Bay is just across the way (42). We took a cab or that bus into town then used the subway to get around from there.
Don’t bother with a cab to/​from the airport! Get the octopus card (put like 300 HKD on it) and take the train to Central. Once there cab over to Ovolo, and vice versa.
Be sure to check out Tai Pan Reflexology for a massage in Tsim Sha Tsui when you get tired. The entrance is off the main road with stairs leading down.

Fantastic hotel for business travelers. Free hi-​speed wifi and HK hotspots, free minibar, free drinks in lounge while I’m working, free self-​service laundry, free breakfast… A very cool loft décor, comfortable bed and great shower. The staff are incredibly helpful and courteous. They all remembered my name every time I’d pass through the lobby. When my flight got in at 6am they offered to give me another room to take a shower while my room was waiting to be available and they offered me breakfast even though I wasn’t yet checked in. I loved my Ovolo Southside experience.
