Came here last night for dinner with a coworker. Inattentive service characterized our evening. We ordered the house fried rice, and the cabbage shrimp sambal to share. The cabbage shrimp sambal came first. It was a fairly small dish for the cost, with no actual shrimp but a little bit of slightly spicy shrimp sauce. And, it came studded with cashew nuts. Interesting, the list of ingredients on the menu does not include cashew nuts. Guess who is allergic to cashew nuts? Me! So, I did not partake. That left me with the fried rice, which came about five minutes later. It was tasty, but skimpy on the sausages, and a fairly small portion. I decided to bulk up my order by having some Chinese fried dough sticks. Well, when the«dough sticks» came(after another longish wait), I was surprised to see that it is just one small dough stick, for $ 12. At least it was crispy and fresh. Also, I had to ask for water multiple times, and had to ask for the bill twice. Altogether, not a great dining experience and I don’t plan on coming back. There is more delicious, cheaper Vietnamese food elsewhere on the island. There are better restaurants inside of and surrounding Times Square.

This place is reasonably priced and the food is ok. The service was a little slow but we were sat down relatively quickly compared to the place next door which had a one hour wait. I ordered the crab tomato phở and the garlic honey butter wings which both were a little on the bland side. Thank god they had srirachra sauce and garlic chili paste.

So we stumbled on this place because we had been sight seeing all day and we were hungry. The place looked nice and inviting so we decided to eat here. When we were seated they informed us we only had the table for a hour and we must leave after that. I thought that was strange but we stayed. The food was bland and not great. We found ourselves putting a ton of sauce on our dishes. On top of that the service was not good. The waiter disappeared and we kept waiting to request things(clearly they forgot the time frame they gave us). I wouldn’t go back

Sigh, this is my second time back here, in this exact location, for the two years that I’ve been here, and this visit just reaffirms why I don’t like this place and why I never wanted to come back again. I’ve heard that they’ve expanded their vegetarian option. So I figured, Okay, why not. Maybe you have gotten better and veg friendly to those that are veg in Hong Kong. Now they can make 3 options instead of just 1. However, I really want to ask the kitchen — have you heard of salt & pepper? Soy sauce maybe? Because the food here is really as bland as it could possibly be. There really was no effort put into the vegetarian dishes besides mixing the ingredients altogether, and wah lah — vegetarian dish! I personally had to add tons of soy sauce to my food to even begin to taste anything. –_– Okay, also forget about customization or asking to leave certain ingredients off. When they took our dish back because it had onions(I had told them I don’t eat onions), they never brought the veggie dish back out and still charged us for it. But we didn’t even eat this? Hey, what, how, what, hey now! They were absolutely clueless that we never ended up getting our veggie dish, and they had two people aware that the dish needed to be remade… Overall, tasteless and terrible food(they just deep fry everything to be honest), and extremely subpar service. I would give this place 0 if I could. My aunt, who is a meat eater, wasn’t a fan of her phở either. What do people see in this place??? I just don’t understand =\ Nha Trang, never again. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

I’ve been to 2 other locations of this restaurant around HK. This place is pretty pricey, but you can enjoy and taste the quality of the ingredients! It’s very good! There are no complaints about any of the dishes. If you don’t know what to try, just stick with the basic Phở and go from there! If you’re not a local in HK, it’s hard to find this place as mostly everything in HK is built up. So, to get here, find the elevator queue in Times Square to the RIGHT of Lane Crawford Happy Eating!
