Came here on a whim for a quick ramen lunch. At 1pm there was no line, which said quite a bit about the restaurant considering that it’s peak lunch hour, yet we were seated immediately, after some effort to get attention from the staff. Food: 3⁄5 I ordered the tsukemen and the gyoza. The tsukemen broth was very flavourful, but was extremely oily, so that did put me off my meal quite a bit. The gyoza, I’m pretty sure they’re just frozen gyozas from packaging, because it tasted terrible, and the wrapping of the dumplings fell off while trying to separate gyoza. Didn’t even bother to finish it because it’s probably one of the worst I’ve had in my life. Needless to say, there were only 3 staff member, and because of the awkward interior design, it’s very hard to get the attention of the waiters, and it took us a LOT of effort to order, to ask for tissue and to get the bill… You’d be better off eating ramen elsewhere.

I agree with the previous reviewer that the staff may be a little bit inattentive but I did get my ramen in less than 10 minutes as did the tables on either side of me. The BBQ pork ramen was really really amazing! I enjoyed it more than many of those destination places near Times Square.

Can’t say much about this small chain Japanese ramen store. First time experience wasn’t very pleasure. Slow service, undertrained staff, and just average quality of food. The 沾 汁 麵 I ordered, the broth came salty with not much flavor to it other than sweet. The only thing memorable was the half soft boiled egg. In a city with people that are always in a rush, who can afford more than 60 minutes for a bowl of noodles?
