Hands down my favorite place for tsukemen!
Fujiyama offers both regular ramen and tsukemen, which is ramen with a twist– the soup is served separate from the noodles and you dip the noodles into the soup. This place specializes in tsukemen so I highly encourage you to choose this over traditional ramen.
The tsukemen here never disappoints! Pork slices are tender, the broth is rich, thick and flavorful and the noodles are firm and chewy. Can’t forget about the soft boiled egg, cooked to perfection with a firm white and a runny center!
You don’t need to worry about your soup getting cold because they have mini electromagnetic heaters at the table to heat it up or keep it warm. Once you finish the noodles you will probably have some leftover soup– for an additional $ 20 HKD you can get a bowl of rice with cheese to add to the soup and create a cheesy rice risotto concoction with! It’s seriously so delicious. Love the concept of this place and the food is to die for!
