Lan Fong Yuen

If you don’t have time to wait in line at its original location in Central (HK side), this location is a good alternative. Very few know about this location, or rather… they prefer the nostalgic hole in the wall «dai pai dong» location of the original.
Lan Fong Yuen has done a great job in preserving the past of Hong Kong’s history. We are fortunate enough to experience this type of food stands that lives on right till today. If you are around the area or is in search of a breakfast and/​or afternoon snack place, give this place a try… just their infamous «stocking» milk tea is worth coming here, goes down smooth with such a rich tea flavor. While I prefer to have this drink hot, despite the humid hot HK weather outside, others likes it over ice to cool themselves down.
Yes, this is the place has been talked about in many travel sites and you will find a sea of tourist here but don’t be surprised to see your crowd of HK locals here as well. Menu are usually given to you in Chinese unless you ask for the English version.
