The club ambiance is extremely civilized and the dim sum lunch is wonderful(if not a bit pricey)! Highlights included the fried tofu(so light and fluffy — but perfectly seasoned) and the har gow(steamed shrimp dumplings). A meal for four came to USD$ 200, but it was well worth it. I’m looking forward to my next meal here.

LKF used to be my stomping grounds when I was in HS — I learned my bad habit of clubbing at 97 and California. I went here on a Friday night for a special event and had a reasonably good time. Maybe I’m getting old but I was glad that we got there early because it started fill up with people. The good thing about private clubs is that it doesn’t get * too* crowded with wall to wall people and that you’re able to move about and get your groove on. Once you go up the big and stylish staircase, it has some really nice artwork and we stayed up here to enjoy drinks and catch up with old friends and talk to super drunk strangers. Servers and staff were nice and it was definitely an enjoyable experience. We knew we were really old when we spilled out onto LKF and it was teeming with hipster 20 somethings, all ready to party. I felt like their Auntie, looking at them and thinking to myself«I wish I was young and full of energy again to party like a rockstar!»

KEE features as a private member-only restaurant and club on Wellington Street. Its exclusive service towards their member offers unique and private experience to stay away from the hustle and bustle. The place is a two story combination of bar, dance floor and dinning room. Their vintage always fascinates me! I have been doubting whether they are connected to boutique hotel, Luxe Manor. Who shares similar artistic taste. Antique is everywhere in this club, do not split your wine. The salon can host wine tasting, private party and other forms of entertainment. Each chair in the Salon is a piece of art, the ‘Egg chair’, vintage soft leather armchair, they have got it all. I am picky with social events. Whenever the venue is written KEE Club, I am relief and tick going right away. It is a label of ‘quality control’. Nice crowd, house/techno is on, cosy vibe, I just need to dance till the end. They play as a night club more often than the dinning scene. I am not a member that in no place should I comment on the food. Some guest DJ set means a long queue to secure an entry. But best thing about partying here, decent wine, real champaign! I am down for that in all occasions.

This is a private members only club that is located in the middle of central, right above Yung Kee. When I first knew of this place, I thought it was the coolest. It had a nice grand staircase at the entrance, leading up to the dining room. On the bottom floor was the bar/club. The restaurant used to have very good food. I used to come here for lunch here and then. I came here recently for a Chinese dim sum lunch, unfortunately was quite disappointed with the quality. They have deteriorated since I was here long ago. I remember the biggest disappointment out of all the dim sum dishes was their xiao long bao. It was served on a soup spoon, which removes the hassle of transferring the dumpling from the plate to the spoon. The skin was so thick that it absorbed all the soup even without spillage! :( At least the bottom floor where the bar and club is, is much more impressive. I love how Kee Club often holds special events. The bring in different talents and events for its members. One of the events I enjoyed most was a girl vocalist and a saxophonist. The venue is not too big but having said that, it allowed the saxophonist to work the room and played it while zipping in and out of the audience. I really like the décor inside the bar area. They use a lot of interesting art pieces and furniture to deck it out. Even the walls/wallpapers gives it a bit of a nostalgic, mysterious look. they also have private rooms available inside the bar, so if you went with a group of friends and wanted a little privacy, this is your place.
