I go here every time I visit Hong Kong. The shops are on the upscale side which I would expect since the mall is part of the Hyatt hotel. I browse the stores a little, but what I really come here for is the Marketplace food store in the lower level.
Lots of local eats to choose from. Fresh fruit and veggies, sushi, deli meats, booze, and just about everything needed to make a short visit more comfortable.

This place is your typical shopping plaza plus art works on display making it well decorated. Come here for a quick shop, snack, or just to hang out and take pictures! The building also has several floors that has a lot of restaurants. So go give this place a go and stop by Smile Desserts!

Classed as the world’s first «art mall», it’s got a cool design at the main entrance of the shopping mall. Something you rarely see in hong kong. However saying that, I don’t think it’s the most uniquely designed. From my recollection, there’s a mall in Beijing that had a similar design, even nicer — and NO, beijing didn’t copy them because it was from years before k11 opened.
When you go inside the shopping mall, the layout does not look any different from any local shopping mall, aside from the art pieces laying around. It was a simple structure that would be expected from any mall.
What is unique about it is the art work they have, they would brand the shopping mall with sculptures, paintings, and other art work on every floor.
As for the shops, there were a few design shops but certainly would not consider the whole mall is design focused. In my very personal opinion, i would think that if they classified itself as an «art mall», there should be more artistic stores — similar of what pmq is going for. Unfortunately they didn’t have that element which is somewhat disappointing.
The stores itself weren’t very special either, they would have IT, and a few chain stores — I don’t get it, what’s the point? The chain stores could be found at pretty much any shopping mall, why an art mall? I think i would like this mall more if they had more local designers and handmade goods, to classify as an «Art mall».
the up side is however, that they do have quite a few good restaurants in there…
