Pro: They broadcast almost all live football matches, and arguably one of the most popular places to watch football. Con: There are not many other reasons you’d specifically come to this bar. Pro: They have almost twice the size of the original store. Con: It’s a bit further away from the actual Causeway Bay, and further uphill. Pro: They have an amazing list of beers to choose from(well, amazing in terms of CWB’s standard, not Soho’s). Con: You have to be very patient to get a server, due to its prolonged corridor. It’s a flaw by design. Pro: Unlimited peanuts and you can toss them on the floor. Hell YES. Con: It isn’t really an «Inside out» anymore as most of the areas are indoors or covered. More cons: «membership» only(although it’s like $ 20 a month, or you can tell the server that the friend of yours who is a member«is coming»). It closes relatively early to other bars, and also it lacks of other entertainment(darts, pools, etc.). But surely you can go to their professional pool room if you are keen. But as a sport bar, I still enjoy every bit of it, if not more than its original location, which was somehow always full.

My friends and I loved coming here when it was located across the street from Lee Garden, but the landlord was reclaiming their spot so they had to move. I’m glad they’re back! They have an extensive list of microbrews from all over the world and their food is surprisingly good. I’ve had their mac n cheese which was REAL mac n cheese, not the Kraft kind. Their onion rings, served with BBQ sauce, had a tasty batter and stayed crispy for quite a while. Their cheesy frieds were also solid. Not to mention their endless peanut baskets, of course! My friends and I always get a little bit silly by throwing the shells at each other. Inn Side Out is located in the South China Athletic Association and is members only. The membership is $ 120HKD /year, so not bad. This location is a little bit far from the MTR, but the restaurant overlooks the driving range!

I am not really a sports fan but I still hear a lot about this famous Sports bar. Inn Side Out is a really relaxing place to come for causal drinks while watching the latest football games. Given I do not really watch Sports, normally I come here because my friends drag me out and I have to say that I still enjoy it so much. It used to be next to Sunning Centre but now with the new location — South China Athletic Association base. It can be quite difficult to locate given the lack of signage. However, that does not mean it is not as good; in fact, this new location is more spacious and definitely will be perfect for some actions between the heated audiences during the game. As for the food and drinks here, it serves American pub food and also American microbrews or Belgian imports. What I like the most about this place is that no matter when you go there, every time when you walk in, you can hear the crushing of peanuts sound every step you take. That just shows you how many people have been there the night before and the atmosphere must be of all time high. I strongly recommend people coming here for a drink or just hang out with friends. It has a rather nice vibe that you feel like you can say everything with an open heart. And of course do not forget to toss some peanuts just to fit in!

Originally I have no idea what this place is called, but I have already been visiting this place even since my high school years. For a long while I use to call this place«the bar with peanut shells on the floor», which pretty much highlights one of the special features of the gastropub. The peanuts are served free while you can have limitless refills as long as you are drinking in the bar; what’s very cool of them is that the waiters would simply sweep the shells on the bar table on to the floor, and no one would bat an eye if you do the same; that’s macho at its finest~ Macho as it is, beers on tap are standard, but what makes this place special is that they also offer special beers from all around the world. Cider, berry flavored and more are on their drinks menu wait for you to try them all. Speaking of drinks, this place makes good cocktails as well, so no matter as a drink go with your dinner, or a hangout spot for happy hours, this is one good place to go. As you know there are 2 parts in a gastropub, «gastro» and«pub» and now we should move on to the«gastro» part of Inn Side Out, the food. Inn side out serves up mainly american style bar food, fries with cheese, mac and cheese, pizzas and buffalo wings. It is a shame that I did not have the chance to have dinner in this place, I so wanna go through each and every item on the menus as they do look appetizing.

I’ve just discoved Inn-side Out and I’ll be spending quite a few of my happy hours here! Its location, SCAA in Causeway Bay is towards the direction of Happy Valley, so it’s a pretty convenient to get there — ten minutes walk from Sogo and Times Square, tops! Although Inn Side Out is housed in a members-only club, you don’t have to be a member to go into the restaurant. They don’t ask to see a card when you enter, and they don’t ask when you’re paying the bill either. I was really impressed with the service at Inn Side Out. When my friends and I got there, we were a little tired and sweaty from walking. They told us that they only had outdoor seats left, and it was kind of breezy so we were alright with it. Within a few minutes of sitting down at our outdoors table, we were asked if we would like to move indoors, so of course we said yes! The waiters are very attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for our orders to be delivered. The menu at Inn Side Out is pretty extensive, both in terms of food and drinks. Their beer selection is a full page long(and their menu is pretty big!) They do happy hours from the afternoon up till 8pm, and their happy hour prices are quite reasonable in my opinion. My friends and I had an early dinner prior to coming here so we just ordered two dishes — hot wings and nachos — to share. Their portions were surprisingly huge — the hot wings order came with TEN wings, and between the five of us we only just managed to finish the nachos! I definitely recommend Inn Side Out as a place to catch up with your friends. There’s a good menu, huge portions and great service — what’s not to love?

Inn Side Out is one of my casual hangout spots in Causeway Bay. There are so many restaurants in the hood but I always go back. I guess that explains something! Inn Side Out is an American style bistro, which serves typical bar food, like fat chips, onion rings, wings, etc. They also have pasta, pizza, burger, salad and steak. Their varied menu is definitely one of the reasons why I don’t mind going back again and again.(not to mention, everything is pretty good there!) Apart from food, they also have an extensive beer menu, I’m sure there’s something there for every palate! There are two must-order items, which I strongly recommend and are incredibly delicious. One of them is the ultimate comfort food, mac and cheese! Their mac and cheese is simply impeccable, which is not overly heavy but rich and flavorful. It is always freshly baked, heaping the top with melted cheese and a lot of bacon bits with just the right amount of sauce. The hot embrace of cheese and macaroni make the best comfort food. A little tip is that all dishes are really huge and filling at Inn Side Out(standard American size), so don’t keep everything to yourself but order more and share with your dear friends! The second must-order item is their smoked salmon pizza. While pizza topped with smoked salmon is common enough, Inn side out’s version is the best among all with a cracker-like base and an insane amount of smoked salmon. I am so addicted to their crispy tomato base and the irresistible overwhelming amount of smoked salmon. Need I say more? Ugh, I am hungry again.
