OHMYGOODNESS. What a fantastic place for ramen. Whenever I come back to Hong Kong, I really look for a great ramen place — because, well, it’s good food :) Atmosphere: Laid back, unique approach to dining. Diners can be seated in the usual table-setting, or you can choose the fun«cubby-like» feel, where each diner gets their own space. It is hard in the cubby environment to interact with people next to you, but you really get to focus on your food. Plus, if you were eating alone, it also takes away that awkwardness. Food: Very simple ordering — you fill out a form that lets you control your ramen, from soup strength, spiciness, oiliness, ingredients, noodle firmness. I ordered pretty much everything marked regular, and added an egg. The soup was amazing, and the noodles were cooked just to my liking. The food came out within 10 minutes, and I really have no complaints. The broth was the perfect umami, thickness. Service: fast, easy, no hassle. The wait is a little long if you go prime-time, but when I went at 4pm I was seated within 5 minutes. I would definitely return here again soon. See you next week!

Delicious! Walked in on a whim and unknowingly chose the counter(aka telephone booth) seating for ramen. I was pleasantly surprised! Go left if you want group seating or sharing of meals. Go right for a unique counter ramen experience. Each booth comes with a fresh water tap(perfect to refill those water bottles!), an order sheet, instruction guide, and a call button. Theres a shade to block your view of the workers behind the counter to give you some truly peaceful dining experience. Once you have finished with your order form, simply press the bell and someone will be there to take your order. The egg was served cold and both the egg and ramen came almost immediately. Broth was warm(not super hot) and really flavorful. I love that you can customize the ramen down to the oiliness! Everything tasted delicious. Only gripe was that because the egg was served cold and the broth wasn’t hot, my egg managed to stay somewhat cold during the meal even after eating it half way… a little pricy for a $ 14 egg. $ 89 basic ramen comes with two small slices of pork(not fatty), ramen, green onions, garlic, and hot sauce. I loved the food and would definitely come back for a treat. Check it out for a unique dining experience!
