My wife delivered our baby here a few days ago. They charged us about HK$ 100 k in total. The charge is expected so there is no complaint. However, with such a high charge, the service was just so-so. The nurse who is taking care of our baby was quite rude and not experienced. She has a horrible face with a lot of pimples that may scare mom and baby. And her attitude was very rude. We have to control ourselves to pretend to listen to her as I am afraid she may hurt our baby. There was once that I had some disagreement on how to treat our baby and was trying to ask some questions, I even got yelled at. During pregnancy, my wife had to go to do check up every few weeks, every check up costs HK$ 2000 +. However, the check ups turned out not very useful. When there was a problem, the doctor/nurse cannot handle it as they didn’t have sufficient experience. I suspect this hospital is a for profit company.

Spent a few days here with my mother for her PET scan, blood transfusion, and chemo. Turned out this was also the hospital where she had her operation for ovarian cancer 20 years ago. The nurse we had for the first day/night was pretty green, she kept asking us basic and obvious questions that we’ve either answered in our initial questionnaire/admission form or provided in our case history file. However, we can’t really fault a nervous newbie nurse, so I am not taking any stars of in my rating as the more experienced nurses are fairly competent. The food was reasonably priced and surprisingly good for a hospital run canteen, the famous chicken clay pot rice is wonderfully flavourful with rice that is actually crispy. There are a lot more choices at the café than the room service menu, which some specials that are good deals. Prices for medical services are quite high if one does not have insurance to cover it, but you do get what you pay for. The equipment is top notch and the place is very clean. 清倉令郎聽湯

I’m a dutchess of a hospital. Whaaaat? Ok I guess I’ll write a review. I’ve been here many times and for different reasons. Good or bad. I’d say it’s overall a great hospital. You can tell that they’re a very structured organization and everyone working here are well trained. Doctors and nurses are professional and polite. The nurses I have dealt with are so nice I actually wrote them a card to say thank you. The hospital took the past few years to revamp the entire place and I could see them upgrading section by section, and I like this place more and more. I’d like to make a special mention of the food there — the canteen has really good food, with a nice casual setting overlooking the race course. Clay pot rice is really famous but there’s a wait for it. Not that I want to come here all the time, but if anyone reading this is concerned about the quality of doc or the place, there’s nothing for you to worry about. If you have a good medical insurance, just go for it!

Round-the-clock medical care at my doorstep! I have benefitted from their 24-hour outpatients many times. I have also visited a number of their departments as well as stayed at the wards, and have always left feeling I have received the quality of health care that I have paid for(with the help of health insurance coverage). I live in the neighborhood so there is little reason for me to go anywhere else until cost becomes a big issue.

Came here for a body check up with my mom. This hospital is where I was born and it literally has the best facilities in town. For the annual check people, Once you arrive there is a short survey the nurses, who are all so sweet and nice, help you fill out. Afterwards you are asked to change into spa like robes while you wait in a common area with coffee and tea served. The common area looks similar to an airport lounge. There are newspapers and magazines laid out, coffee and tea to be serve and after your blood is drawn they give you little sandwiches to nibble on. The entire check up takes about 6 hours. There is plan A and plan B. B is less extensive than A and also there are other add ons you can add for example a ogbyn exam can be added on if you didn’t get your mammogram in this year. The hospital is super clean. The nurses are very sweet. When the nurse drew my blood I was very afraid of the needles but it didn’t hurt at all. This is probably the best physical experience I have ever received. Your report comes back in ten days and the doctors explain to you in detail as well as a nutritionist helps guide you to what nutrients your body needs or lacks. I’m glad I came here for my annual physical and kudos to my parents for choosing an awesome hospital to have me born in. Fingers crossed while waiting for the reports!
