All you can meat. Does that explain how this place works? Great for hungry teenagers, groups, especially if you like bragoggi or ribs. Not 100% Korean — sort of Korean with local HK flavor with some popular lower end sushi/sashimi and local desserts. Go if you’re hungry.

Very reasonably priced all you can eat Korean BBQ for $ 119HKD(about $ 16USD) per person for lunch. Buffet includes nice variety of pork, chicken, beef, lamb, seafood and veggies to grill, large selection of banchan and soups, fried rice, steamed rice, chabchae(Korean stir fried noodles), fruit, ice cream and desserts.

Great place to eat with friends. All the meat you want. No beer included though. Soju is okay. If you planned to get stuffed then go here. The meat are marinated in their sauce and cooked to your liking. A lot of flavor. One thing they could add more is real Korean food such as kim bap and fresh seaweed. They also replace your grille for you when it gets black and dirty. Just tell them and wiggle them over. Place isn’t a good place to go on a data however. It’s a place to eat with a group of friends. I think you will find it boring with just two people(guy and girl). If you are looking for a date restaurant, do not pick here. Be warned. Sometimes you will see kids running around. Only serves two kind of drinks that are included in your bill. One is the soy bean drink. Luke warm, luke cold. Not to my taste. The other is plum juice which will probably be good to for you to drink when you digest after dinner.

My boyfriend has been raving about this place for ages, so when we finally found a time to go with a few friends, I was all too happy. All I had been hearing for the last few months was how cheap it was, and how cheap the beer was, and how cheap it was again. Frankly, it was a little infuriating. But now it’s my turn to rave. First off, it is cheap. You’re looking to spend around $ 200 for all you can eat Korean BBQ, with beers. There’s an ongoing deal on 2-for-1 beers, so we went for three bottles of Tsing Tao which they keep cool in ice buckets. There’s also sake and shoju available, but without deals. As for the lay of the land, Hon Wo’s got it all — you can start with the very average banchan, or go straight to the meat — shortrib, bulgogi, chicken, pork etc. are all stuffed into their respective steel canteen trays with labels distinguishing one meat from another. For sides, there are vegetables, mushrooms, soups, and rice. You can smack these on the grill too, but I was eating with a messy mash-up of males, so my eggplants and mushrooms were consequently shooed off the grill for the slap of more meat. Obviously, don’t expect the prettiest meat on display — you’re getting what you pay for, no frills. To be fair, no one I know has got food poisoning from this place yet, and the restaurant is always packed on weekendds, so I think it’s safe to say that this place is a great deal. They also have raw salmon sashimi, which a friend of ours demolished plate after plate of. I thought that was pretty weird, but he said it was great. He also enjoyed his chicken wings precariously pink, so I’m not sure I’d trust his taste. Stick to the barbecue and I think you’ll have a swell time.
