Hokkaido Dairy Farm Restaurant

Hokkaido milk appears to be held to a very high standard here in Hong Kong, and given the wonderful breakfast we had at Australia Dairy Company, we were excited to see what a Japanese fusion spin would be on a cha chaan teng.
The menu is loaded with interesting sets and we settled on the following:
Breakfast macaroni set w/​spicy pork cubes — I have an affinity for spicy pork cubes and tend to think anything including them is delicious. I rather liked the combination of a milky chicken broth plus the pork. I know this doesn’t sound harmonious together, but I felt like it struck a good balance of flavor.
Green Teapuccino — A much creamier version of a green tea latte. Good level of sweetness
HK Milk Tea — Average. Would recommend upgrading to one of their specialty drinks
Chocolate pineapple bun — Bun was rather dry and taste was average
Milk waffles w/​condensed milk & butter — Appreciated the salty butter tempered with condensed milk, but the waffles were soggy.
Overall, I rather enjoyed the macaroni set and teapuccino, but other selections were average.
