I loved this spot!!! We couldn’t understand anything we were ordering but everything was so incredible. It was such an amazing little spot in Causeway Bay. Get the baked pork buns — they are baked sweet and salty deliciousness. Can’t go wrong!

One of the most authentic dim sum I’ve had and made all the better if you go with local HK’nese. Recommended this place by a coworker and she literally called up the waiter while we were there to order our dishes for us. What I noticed was that many of the dishes brought out were not part of the typical dim sum menu but rather on the specials menu… so perhaps the best way to get a real taste of HK dim sum is by beelining for the specials binder rather than ordering from the main menu. It’s tucked away on the 2nd or 3rd floor of a building complex, so may be tough to find, but be patient and you’ll be rewarded with one of the best dim sum experiences out there.

If you have more money than time, then this place is a good experience. Otherwise, I’d stay away. The Price Lets get the elephant out of the room here, this place is overly expensive for what you get. You have to pay for water for crying out loud. And if you want refills of said water they’re not included. To put things into perspective, for 2 waters(which I assumed would be free…) 1 plate of shrimp dumplings(8 dumplings) and 1 broth, the total came out to HK$ 230. WHAT??? The Food The dumplings and the broth were mediocre at best. The dumplings by themselves were bland and the broth added a slight bit of flavor, but nothing to write home about The Experience This is where this place really shines. You cook your own dumplings which is fun and great to do with a big group. Youre not given instructions at first, but the staff is very helpful. The food does take a while to cook however.

im not sure what the first dish was called, but it is is like mochi or leen go, with cheese in the middle. my my my… that was exquisite. slightly crispy on the outside, evenly smooth on the inside. not sure what the cheese was, but i felt it was between brie and gorgonzola. crispy tofu. pretty fluffy for tofu. and deep fried crispy. Oxtail stew. not bad, the meat was fall off the bone, but i would have liked something in addition to the meat if you are gonna call it a stew. bbq pork aka cha siu. super most, flavor to the center, awesome. not a lot of red dye which is a plus. shark fin soup. felt like i got ripped off on this dish. they served it in a cored out papaya and i felt like it was half a bowl when leaving a bunch of papaya meat due to half-ass coring.

another top hk restaurant for banquet style meals and dim sum, so if in town for a short time, really can’t go wrong with most of the michelin bib gourmand choices.
