Got an iced osmanthus lychee green tea with SALTEDCHEESE(wtf is that?!) I didn’t dare to try it on its own so I mixed it right away. Supposed to be like sea salt cream but cheesy… I guess. A bit disappointed that the osmanthus and lychee gt flavor isn’t strong enough. Maybe the hot version would be stronger in flavor. Their milk tea with oreo looks good.

It’s okay. It’s cute, but just alright. Stopped by this shop for a quick pick-me-up drink. I ordered the Four Seasons Green Tea with Lemon Juice(first thing on the top left hand side), and it was refreshing the first few sips, but way too sweet to drink for long! I had barely finished ¼ of it and had to chuck it b/c I couldn’t take in all that sugar. But, I must say that their bubble tea was very good. Gives Gong Cha a run for their money. If you like sugary drinks, go for it? IMO, I wouldn’t stop by this place again if I had a choice.

Fresh Tea, located at the ground floor of Argyle Centre, is where many shoppers stop for a drink before embarking on their shopping hunt, and I am no exception. A friend and I were just here the other day, and of course we had to make our stop at Fresh Tea. This unsuspecting drink shop is definitely popular — it’s not uncommon to see a long line, and for some reason, people who have already bought their drinks love standing around there, making it hard for passerbys to go through. Fresh Tea has a pretty large variety of drinks, so there’s something to suit everybody. I usually play it safe and get the classic bubble tea or one of the fruit teas, but my friend recommended the Yakult green tea with aloe. You can tell from what I usually order that I’m no adventurist when it comes to these sort of drinks, so when she managed to convince me to try it, I was still a little skeptical inside. But I was pleasantly surprised — this stuff was actually good! The Yakult blended well with the green tea, something I had never thought possible, and there was a pretty generous amount of aloe. The drink was refreshing and slightly on the sour side, and if you know me at all, you’ll know I love anything that’s even a little sour. My friend got the milk tea with Oreo and cream and she let me try it. It was really, really sweet, so I didn’t like it that much. The drinks here are reasonably priced — my drink was $ 20, and considering its size and the amount of aloe, it was a good deal. If this were served in a restaurant, it would definitely be upwards of $ 40! Definitely give this place a go next time you’re at Argyle Centre.
