This is my to go location for Barre Classes. Having just return from California where barre is quite popular I went on a treasure hunt for a studio in Hk and found this gem. Their locations are central and Aberdeen, both of which are very clean and tidy. After every class, a lady comes and wipes everything down/vacuums so rest assure you are working out in a clean environment. The reception desk are the friendliest I’ve experience! The trainers are friendly, professional and will guide you through the exercises and tailor moves to your fitness level– obviously you need to pick a class that suits you! My only complaint is the changing rooms are tight, crowded and you will find yourself climbing over someone else.

Signed up for one allegro beginner class. Let’s play Pilates with reformer. I don’t challenge my capacity as I tend to hate my not enough strong core in the one or two Pilates classes I taken so far. But reformer teaches me something new. I adjust to my pace and strength. And you feel that click ’ right there’. You know exactly how accurate that push is giving back to you. Holding and shaking is normal but the reformer as well as instructor’s firm voice just let the counting finish. The team is amazing! Not to mention the great location, chic retail, casual vibe. The real oasis in LKF.

Flex Studio has a variety of classes at good hours pre and post work, perfect for working guys and gals. Fat burning cardio Pilates has you work up an intense sweat where my face is bright red by 4 minute circuit style of horizontal jumps. Yes horizontal. Detox yoga is both relaxing but tough with the different poses we do in this class. I love it after a tough exercise weekend because it stretches out all my knots. Sunday mornings I take Trixie’s TRX Pilates… Reverse pull ups, reverse crunches??? Lastly, the shower room is fully stocked so it’s perfect way to start my weekend, hit the shower, doll up and be fresh to be out the rest of the day.
