Small, air conditioned fast food type restaurant with typical Turkish menu. Had the spicy hummus pita wrap which was fresh and hit the spot! Like the other reviewer said, it’s a good place to go the day after a night of drinking but nothing special.

There are only two things I think Ebeneezer’s is good for, and that is to soak up beer, and give you a dodgy gut the following day, but this may be the booze, so no judgements! Actually, Ebeneezer’s is a great alternative late night dining spot to the cha chaan teng of HK. It is a great, greasy, chilli sauced alternative to fish ball soup, and let’s face it, who on earth wants fish ball soup after a skin full. The menu is small but well formed; you have shish kebabs(the skewer ones) with a variety of meats, doner kebabs(the elephant leg ones) with a variety of meats, kebab rolls, and some other bits like falafel, chips, salads, breads. It’s also pretty inexpensive, so even if you take one bite and realise that eating on top of ten pints is not a good idea, no great shakes. I would advise you get the staff to make sure everything is very well cooked. I have had a few occasions of half frozen chips, cold meat, and indigestion, so make sure(regardless of how incoherent you are) to get everything well cooked. The staff are pleasant enough, and are happy to help. Most of them are Filipino, so they have good English. There are a few spots in HK, mainly near to the bar areas, so you should never be too far away from a reasonable late night feed. Give it a go, it’s a nice reminder of home, and you never know, you may just shave the worst off your hangover the next morning.
