Decent food. Bad service. Almost left as they never asked us what we wanted to eat or bring us any water. Had to flag someone down to order after waiting 20 minutes. Only 2 other tables in the restaraunt were seated so there was really no excuse. I agree with other reviews about the staff enjoying saying«no». Asked to get the protein shake with whole milk instead of skim. Not sure they really understood the question but were happy to say no they couldn’t do that. Salmon salad was good. Protein shake was a good flavor but not really«thick» like I expected. 2 stars for poor service. Excellent service could bring this up to 4. Expect to have your time wasted unless you chase down the staff.

The name of this place lets you know what to expect when you first open the menu. ‘Eat right’ is less of a request than the only choice you’re given! Even the desserts are made with healthy ingredients, which is probably why I didn’t enjoy them as much as expected. My basic rule with food is, if it’s not going to reduce my lifespan it probably doesn’t taste so good. However, to every rule there is an exception and Eat Right is my exception. Located on Staunton street in Soho I figured the price for a meal would be higher than average, based on the rents people paid in the popular area, and they weren’t too bad. A lasagna goes for just over $ 100, yet then again six pita chips with a load of hummus goes for a similar price. Though the price can be questioned the quality cannot. I’ve visited on numerous occasions and have left satisfied on each one. Food that tastes great and is healthy, what’s the catch? Well… as far as I can tell, none. There are always seats available but you can reserve a table in advance if so inclined, and the vino selection is on par with the rest of the area. You won’t find me saying this very often but they do some superb salads. My girlfriend and I tend to order one such salad and a couple of tapas, and just share everything on the table. There is also the option to order main, individual dishes if you’re not the sharing type. Our safe choices include, the lamb tapa, spicy calamari tapa, and the six pita chips previously mentioned(With hummus and avocado on top). By the end of the evening knowing that I’ve eaten healthy does actually play a part in the overall experience, generally a pleasant one.

Eat Right does what it says on the tin. You go there to «eat right». The style is sort of home cooking, using fresh ingredients and healthy cooking techniques. The menu is made up of Western dishes, including pastas, burgers, some(but limited) meat and seafood, salads, soups, you get the idea. I visited recently and had the lunch special, which was excellent value at just a pip over HKD100, and included a soup or salad, a main, and a dessert or tea/coffee. However, whilst excellent value, it was all a bit«I could have made this at home, but better». The chicken milanese main was grilled or baked(couldn’t quite tell under the tomato salsa), rather than friend in breadcrumbs as it should be, but whilst disappointing, one assumes this is just to do with being more healthy? The chicken did come with the baked wedges, which appear with a lot of their dishes, and are very good — both in taste and by sheer virtue of them not being fried. I actually prefer to visit in the evening and order off the a-la-carte menu, as the portions are bigger, and it just feels a bit more restaurant-like, lunch feels a bit more café. I recommend the halloumi burger, or some of the Swedish specialities — Martin the owner is Swedish, so these are great. Unfortunately, I do find the waiting staff there not too knowledgeable about the menu, and not particularly helpful with making changes or replacements. A little bit too much«no, cannot» for my liking. Last couple of things to mention, Eat Right does a weight loss program where you can sign up to have your meals delivered to be cooked at home. They also show the calorie counts alongside dishes on the menu, which is actually a really nice touch.
