caffè HABITŪ

Nice small coffee place inside the shopping building the One. It is at a corner area with a pleasant view of the high rises around. Because it’s on the 6^th floor, it offers quite a relaxing arial scene. There are three rows of small coffee tables closely arranged together. It looks a bit tight, and you can’t really walk in between rows with hitting the tables.
I ordered an Irish coffee. I’m not a big fan of this Irish beverage, but just decided to try something unusual for a decent price HK$ 59 (=US$ 8). The coffee is quite flavorful (kind of between mild and bold), but the whisky part is definitely distinct, at least to someone that normally drinks regular coffee or latte.
The servers are very friendly and courteous. Overall, I enjoyed the break there.

There’s a reason for rose latte to be the best-​selling signature coffee on their menu. It soothes and calms your emotions and allow you to enjoy the stay at the café. Though I think I will try other signature coffees too in my coming visits
I came for a sunday brunch, of which I order truffle scramble egg. I was expecting a croissant for sides but they came with toasts instead, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, perfect for my sunday morning.

Lovely rose latte! Good balance of flavor. I’m always worried that the rose can be overpowering. I came by after shopping and got the first thing I saw on the menu. I was told I can only get drinks and cakes at the time I went (around 9pm), probably closed the kitchen already? The barista was quick and I sat down with a big cup of coffee. There’s a lot of seating and wasn’t crowded at all. Nice place to rest up in the one.

If you find yourself searching for a pick me up after a great day of shopping or just want to take a peaceful break in between all the hustle & bustle of the street, look no further than Caffe Habitu. Located on the 6^th floor of the ONE shopping center, this boutique café provides a unique overhead view of the ever popular Nathan Road. Once inside, you’re greeted with a wonderful selection of one of a kind drinks that complement the current season as well as the classic coffee & tea options you can always depend on.
I was able to try the masala spiced latte and rose latte (which has actual rose petals floating inside!) which were both absolutely delicious. Combined with the peaceful, open design and amazing view, Caffe Habitu definitely delivers a refreshing experience perfect to start, continue, or end your day.

After lunch at Zurriola, my boyfriend and I decided to watch a film at the cinema at The One. We had a couple of hours to kill so we wandered around the shopping mall and then decided to have a drink before the film started. As Caffe Habitu was at the same level and it was facing the street, it seemed like a good idea.
We wanted to sit at one of the comfy seats on the second row facing the window, but they were all taken, so we initially sat at a table and then moved to the armchairs when they were free. In fact, the layout gives it a very organized feeling of the room — tables and chairs by the window, armchairs and circular tables on a second row.
The decoration, a mix of wood, tiles, concrete, as in the rest of their branches, makes the interior look very comfy and inviting. This branch in The One is also strategically located, in a full glass covered corner.
We ordered a couple of mint teas and sipped away… but fifteen minutes later we were already freezing. The air con was way too low! Hadn’t it been for that, we would have stayed longer I think, and maybe order some food. It looked delicious in the table by ours, although a bit of a rip-​off for such simple dishes (pasta, bagel…).
For a break from shopping, this is a great place. It’s bright and it’s facing the street and Caffe Habitu also serves really good coffee, so there you go.
