Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant

First night on business in Hong Kong and I went to the strip I know I can trust! Sad to see that an old favourite Bulldogs has gone so I was eager to try somewhere new!
I didn’t know what to expect from this German eatery, however my colleague had been there for dinner before and said it was lovely so was happy to try it out.
The food was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend the pretzel to start, or my colleague had the Goulash which he said was tasty also. Then I had the sea bass with boiled potatoes, aubergines, and a tomato sauce, with a side of traditional red cabbage! I was highly recommend the food here, the ingredients were fresh and authentic.
However, the only reason I’m giving Brotzeit 4 stars instead of 5 is our waiter’s service. He was very pushy, and kept asking my colleague if she wanted a second glass of wine after she’d said no twice. And they begun to clear away our plates before people had finished eating. So as one person finished their meal, but another was still eating they would clear plates. Which I find very rude.
Worth a visit for the food, not so much the service.

Good German food. Very authentic.
The menu is quite good and rich of a lot of german dishes. Has also a quite good location.
