Tried this place for lunch today with two coworkers. We shared three lunch sets, which are a great value at $ 55 each(including an entrée, rice bowl, soup, tea, and dessert.) The entrees we selected were: — ma bo tofu — sweet and sour fish — sauteed lamb with spring onion Each was flavourful and delicious. Nice pieces of fish, good ma bo flavour with just a hint of ma la spice(not the spicy ma bo you may be used to). I wouldn’t call entrée portions generous by American standards, but the three of us had leftovers. Soup was nice: a wintery variety with bitter melon, slow cooked beans and barley, and a rich meaty taste that hinted at long-boiled bones. Rice bowls were brimming, and the dessert, a watery coconut milk sago soup, was to my taste — not too sweet. Décor earns a star for its homey feel and those cool in-table goldfish bowls.

Super restaurant in HongKong. Think to book you table if you are a large group. The menu is in English and some of the waiters speak English. Local food with a variety of dishes. Try the sauted green beans with garlic, the noodle soup with sliced lamb or the shrimps. The prices are not expensive. Pay by cash. If you are with someone from the area is better.

We loved everything we ordered. The cumin lamb was good. The glass noodle with peanut sauce is very good.
