Korean style BBQ has become quite popular in Hong Kong recently. 7080 has got several outlets all over Hong Kong. We came on a Saturday evening. This place is crowded and noisy. The setting is casual. Tables are small, they are cramped to ensure the most efficient use of the offered space. There are no proper chairs, you actually sit on small metal drums. When you are led to your table, the staff will inform you that you can only eat for 90 minutes. Service is quick and efficient. Even on a Saturday night the staff will help you to cook for you and give you advices when the meat etc. is ready. They change the grates once it gets burned. This is great service. Food is exceptional good! It emphasizes on Beef, Pork and Seafood. For a carnivore this is paradise. The beef is offered from all kind of different cuts, marinated or non marinated. My favorite is the marinated beef short rib. It is tender, juicy and the taste is great. Some more exotic parts of the pig are also offered which include skin and intestine. Kimchi, Lettuce and Sesame leafs are replenished free of charge. Make sure to order some Korean beer or Sochu to accompany your meal. This place is inexpensive, making it great value for money!
