BB Seaview Restaurant

Having heard much about this location, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived that I was able to grab a table out the back. Now most people will be asking, why are you so happy that they are making you sit in the backyard? It so happens, this particular backyard overlooks the pier and seaside of Lamma Island.
BB Seaview Restaurant is one of the handful of seaside western restaurants at Ying Shue Wan, amongst the numerous Chinese seafood restaurant it is a welcome break from the norm. The outside of the shop already gives you a feeling that this is a place that’s «out of Hong Kong»; probably something out of Harry Potter than Lamma Island.
Once inside, you will find that the bar theme continues and the setting is what I would describe as just right — the mood is quite relaxing and just what most people come to Lamma for. The specialty here are oysters– baked oysters in many different forms, be it in a rice, casserole or just plain good old baked oyster in shell. Other than oysters, the seafood there is magnificent and there really wasn’t much more I could ask for a special evening.
If you are not too good with boats then this will truly be a location that will be sorely missed; on my trip in we had taken a fast ferry which was as stable as a roller coaster ride. However, if you ask me again– whether I will go in again and risk throwing it all out?
