Bar Pacific

Bar Pacific is a chain-​bar the operates across Hong Kong in many locations that most business seem to fail. This is noteworthy in the sense that you can look up Bar Pacific and try to locate all their pubs– most of them are in run down locations or really out of the way areas. This has not stopped it from succeeding though– and I suspect it is for that specific reason, location; that has brought it so much success.
It wouldn’t take much to explain what bar pacific is– its a local bar where you will find that most of the clients are locals and young people who come here looking for a good deal; their beers are sold by set (half dozen) in line with local practice. Usually the entire place is filled with people playing dice games and drinking games of sorts. You will also find that this is not a place for a quiet chat or classy night out– its straight forward in terms of a grotty local bar that’s cheap and convenient– its not pretending to be anything its not which is part of its charm.
As tourists or expats I doubt you will come here as there really is nothing much in it for them– catntopop karaōke, the local drinking games. But if you are local and you want to go out for an authentic «tor dei» night out– then bar pacific will be the first and last thing you will remember.
