AsterSpring

AsterSpring is conveniently located in the middle of Causeway Bay, about a stone’s throw from Hysan Place. I had actually never heard of it, but I was browsing Groupon one day and decided to buy a deal from it because it was quite worth it — a full facial, shoulder and neck massage and a Dermatologica kit for around $ 400! It was my first time buying a beauty service deal from Groupon, so I wasn’t sure what to expect (especially because Groupon is known to be used by small companies who aren’t faring very well and need new customers) but I’m really glad I took the chance and bought the deal.
I was in a rush getting there and was worried that the staff would be a little short with me for being late, but that wasn’t the case at all. I was greeted with a glass of warm water and a form to fill out regarding issues with my skin and any concerns that I had with it. The lady briefed me about the facial and the benefits it would bring to my skin before I began. The facial felt heavenly — I could feel my skin getting purified and cleansed by the minute, and the facialist used some kind of machine technology towards the end to massage the foam cleanser and my face had never felt cleaner than at that moment.
Overall, the service at AsterSpring was wonderful and the center, though small, was very well-​kept and looked really new. The changing area was extremely clean and neat as well. I was asked if I were interested in buying a package from them that would include 10 facials to be done over the course of the next 12 months, and though I really wanted to, the price — about $ 6500 — was way too high for me to accept. I’ve done quite a few facials at different centers before like Essential Spa and some smaller neighborhood ones, but this was the best facial experience I had ever had. It was such a shame that the package offered was so expensive! In the meantime, I’ll be searching for similarly gratifying facials at a more affordable price!
