Their food is okay, but so pricy. I’ve been there twice & the first time was the best time but the second time sucked. First of all, the lady taking our order was pretty rude. She left when we were about to tell her our order & finally when she came back to take our order she was so fast to just leave. Then finally our food came but she never brought us our drinks, we had to go up & ask for it. The chicken wings were good, but super TINY. I felt like it wasn’t worth what I was paying for. I prefer VON’s chicken better.

Very simple menu, but they deliver on taste, chicken wing dinner was great. comes with small salad with an awesome light dressing. The place is clean, and food was served promptly. I must say chickens on Guam must be tiny, cause so far all places we had chicken at have very small pieces. The 2 of us ate for $ 25. To bad Unilocal has this place on the map 3.5 miles from where they actually are.

Pochon Chicken is not just your ordinary chicken restaurant. Although their menu are rather limited but their korean chicken are to die for. They have perfected the way to add that spiciness in their fried chicken that you’d be craving for more. If you’re a chicken lover, you’d definitely love this. Situated in front of St. John School away from Tumon Bay District, you may not notice the lighted signboard OPEN every night. Whether you’re up for a full decent meal or just having midnight cravings(open till 11:30pm daily), this is definitely the place to go to. Some may say that they have few customers especially when you pass by or dine in but you’d often hear their phone ringing for some take-out orders, Their best seller would be the 1box(20 pcs) korean fried chicken wings for $ 22 or if that is too much for you, you may take the half box(10pcs) chicken wings for $ 13(priced at this time). Some may say its a bit pricey but here on island, I think its just about right. Lunch meals are cheaper on island ranging from $ 12-$ 20 on buffets but dinners are expensive ranging from $ 20-$ 42 but for their 1box of chicken, its more than enough for 2 persons given you’d be very full. I love this place especially the range of the spiciness of their chicken. If you’re a first timer, I’d suggest you having mild spicy. It ranges from non spicy to mild spicy and for the risk takers, it ranges from medium spicy to very spicy. I moved on from mild spicy to medium spicy but couldn’t get over that and try the very spicy. If you tried medium spicy, you’d know what I mean. I usually come in with my wife and just enjoy having a great meal. Sometimes the place is like almost reserved for you as people like buying take out orders. The owner is very nice and polite. He’d often suggest us to call in before coming as it takes a while to prepare the chicken(for dining in) but I don’t mind to wait. It takes usually 20mins or so, so better call in and remember the phone number you used as he would ask if it was you who called in earlier by repeating the number. Pochon is popular among locals and among military servicemen especially on fridays and saturdays that the’d have a lot of customer cars parked infront of it. You’d have to understand that korean chicken is by double frying meaning your chicken would be very crispy and some may say overcooked. If you go with the mass of the chicken, this is not the place for you. You may try and go KFC or PizzaHut bbq wings or domino’s chicken wings for those. WIFI is available as long as you inquired for it. Whether for a meal, Late night cravings or food trip or a new try on food, Pochon is Definitely a must try in Guam. The map location shown maybe the mangilao branch. The Tumon location is in upper tumon right across St. John School and almost beside Izakaya by Jimmy.

its ok, but for your money’s worth, go to kfc. chicken is crispy, but crispy to the part that there is barely any meat.

I met some locals and they told me that i had to go to this place. This place is owned by a couple who doesn’t speak english that well so be aware when ordering. I read some other reviews and they are pretty accurate. One person said that they had to wait long and the chicken was over cooked. This is true, the wings are cooked to a crisp which may be the reason it takes long. Personally i would have rather have had the wings taken out of the frier about 5 min earlier. Some other review said that this is the beat chicken on Guam. I would say it had very good flavor and would have been the best if not overcooked. I would go back just for the flavor of the chicken.

Hands down my all time favorite chicken place! Their chicken is so crispy and very flavorful. I don’t think any other chicken place could compare. You have the option to select how spicy you would like it or you could have them served regularly. I usually go with the mild spiciness to give it that extra kick. The salads are also good and served with Asian salad dressing, delish! I would say that their customer service could be a lot better and their prices should be more reasonable. It’s a dollar some per chicken if you were to order a box. But other than that the food is great!

A friend recommended Pochon’s and I was not disappointed! The chicken is fried until it is VERY crispy. It also has a Korean sweet and spicy sauce that tastes great. They let u choose ur level of heat… I chose medium and it was a little spicier than I preferred, but I still couldn’t stop eating! I will definitely be back for more.

I LOVE Pochons! Crispy coated chicken with glaze-like sweet sauce. You get to choose how spicy you want it. I have only tried the Medium spicy… Haha, any spicier would send me to the E.R. Lol

There are two Pochon Chicken locations: one in Upper Tumon and one in Mangilao. Both are rather the same though. The restaurant has a very limited menu, but to be honest, many people only go for one reason: the wings! Different and BETTER than Von’s Chicken. The wings as of this date are 10/$ 11 and 20/$ 22. Rice is bought separately, a dollar a bowl. It comes with a small salad and pickled radish if you dine in. When I eat with my boyfriend, we usually spend $ 26 excluding tip. Pretty pricey for a 20 wings meal, but worth every bite. They also have drumsticks, but it’s a different price and quantity. Wings come in four levels of heat; we usually get mild or the level above it. I enjoy spicy food, but with chicken this good, I save the heat for later and enjoy the wings. Upper Tumon: This location has been consistently great with their chicken. Their chicken is the same in both restaurants, but this restaurant usually has more flavor on it in my opinion. For the most part, the atmosphere is nice and the place isn’t busy. I usually go late at night and it’s relatively empty. The service is friendly. Food comes at a steady pace; it doesn’t come out quickly but they don’t take forever. Service has actually been getting faster lately. Mangilao: Horrible parking, but it has a nicer atmosphere inside since it’s newer. The service is also very friendly. It’s usually empty when I go, but I think lunch times can be pretty busy. OVERALL: I love this restaurant; it’s one of my favorites. Their chicken is something you really should try when on Guam. However, I gave four stars because sometimes their chicken is coated unevenly that some wings have no flavor. The taste is really in the sauce the chicken is coated with. This is why I mention Upper Tumon is usually more consistent when it comes to flavor. However, it doesn’t phase me from going in time and time again. TIP: Order out if you can. Eat it at home to save $ 4+ on rice, drinks, and tip. Food is usually ready in 20 minutes. Doesn’t come with side dishes(radish/salad).

Pochon wings are definitely on the list of must-try-before-you-die dishes on Guam. They are so good! Perfectly crispy, slightly sweet, with your choice of heat. I could sit down and eat a million of these.

Hands down! Still the best wings ever. No one can ever imitate Pochon. Vons chicken has got nothing on them. No where in the states can taste like Pochon. They’ve been around since 1992 so they def. are bomb!!!

This Korean Restaurant is located in upper Tumon, across from St. Johns Church. They have a very limited menu for Korean Food. There best item is the Chicken. It is delicious! You can order it mild or Spicy, but be warned the Spicy is «Korean Spicy’. One box of 15pcs will set you back $ 20.00 for 12 wings and 3 legs.
