Better than Fuji ramen. Service is the best and food is not pricey. I ordered the curry ramen, salmon salad, fried rice, and tempura. The food is very good and flavorful!

For a Japanese Ramen, Ajisen Ramen is amazingly good. One of the biggest menu I have ever seen yet with great consistency. Very reasonable prices. Try the Mayo Karage, Hawaiian Poke, Bake Mussel, to start up as appetizer. As for Ramen, try Ajisen Ramen, Chashu Ramen, Tantan Ramen and most of all, try the Paiku Ramen! Fall off the bone tender juicy Chinese Paiku was just perfectly executed! Food comes out in the timely matter. It’s just a great Restruant for any occasion.

The wife and I went here for lunch today. Getting seated, getting our drinks, and orders put in all happened pretty fast. I ordered the half ramen half fried rice set, I also ordered chashu topping for the ramen. My wife ordered the simple Shoyu Ramen. When it came out I was surprised the chashu was served in a bowl by itself(more on that later). Both of our bowls of ramen were pretty lukewarm, maybe coming from Japan I expect a very hot bowl of soup that needs a few minutes to cool off. The noodles seemed to be more like pasta noodles than traditional ramen, it didn’t have the same taste or texture. With the soup being lukewarm when I added the chashu topping to my soup it cooled the soup off too much. Both soups had good flavor and a nice mix of vegetables, noodle, and soup ratio. The fried rice was also excellent with no flavors overpowering. After we finished our meal we waited a good 15 – 20 minutes for the wait staff to bring us a check, then another 10 minutes to get our receipt. I would’ve given 4 stars but the lukewarm soup and pour service after the food was brought out really left a bad first impression!

Good place for a quick bowl of noodle. Reasonable price, the noodle bowl come in a big portion with an amazing broth. The broth is very flavorful.

Love the food here! My favorite thing to order is the Kimchee Ramen. I love it! The Tempura Roll is also a great choice & for dessert, the Green Team Crème Brûlée. So. Good. The service is good. The only complaint is that it can get pretty noisy, but that’s because there are lots of customers enjoying the food! Rock on, Ajisen!

Delicious ramen dishes, tasty poke appetizer. Gyoza was so-so. The servers were very attentive maybe a little to attentive. Over all love the food and will return!

Gringo here… so take this was a huge grain of salt. It smelled. The whole place reeked. I walked in and immediately wanted to walk out. My companion told me that it smelled that way because of the Ramen, but I don’t know if I believe him. I will say that as soon as I was eating, I did not mind the smell at all, but as soon as my delicious soup was gone, I couldn’t stand it and had to get out of there. Also, we had like 4 different waiters. It was hard to tell if this was one of those communal waiter places where everyone helps every table, but it made it weird to ask for the check. The waiter also had our credit card for about 15 min before he brought it back. It wasn’t anything fishy though because he just had a huge stack of checks. Overall, it was pretty crowded, smelly, and took longer than I wanted, but I went during the middle of the lunch rush. It is worth checking out but be prepared.

Our first impression was not so good since we waited for about 15 minutes to get a table. We would not have minded if there were no tables available, but there were 2 tables open that would have been able go seat us. Luckily, our server Leo was great. Food order and drink orders were take right away. We didn’t have to wait long for the food to come out and they all came at one time. However, furniture needs to be changed considering the booth seats were torn badly and were too low to sit comfortably with the table. Overall, the food and service was good. I just hope they decide to change the furniture soon.

It was interesting to me to see that the most of the Unilocalers gave it «four stars.» Not five, nor three. And I agree with them. The ramen is very good, but not the best I had. Why? Their donkotsu broth is excellent and so is their topping. Then why? Well, the noodle is not outstanding and, personally, every other things they serve is sub-par. I wish they stuck to the few things they do best. I have tried about a dozen different ramen there. They are all good. But just about everything else I ordered were disappointment. Which is why I am giving, like everyone else, four stars.

I love the variety on the menu, especially the ramen… the egg… the salted eggs! Oh did I mention the salted eggs.

One of my favorite places to eat on the island. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and was met with little diappointment. Love their baked mussels, crab stuffed jalapenos and chahan!

So, after our vacation from Japan during the New Year, Ajisen Ramen has become the go to spot for ramen. Though I’ll get back when if we find another place that is better.

Guam is super hot and humid… and the last thing you think you want is a hot bowl of ramen. but you crave this stuff… or I do. Ajisen has a tiny counter up front, where the waiting area and cashier is. I sat there because while there were many empty tables. there were more many waiting people… why is it that restaurants can’t seat folks fast enough? So the girl taking my order is like the head cashier or something. she has everything under control. she is managing the wait list, take outs, cashing people out, tables on the floor and me… only one at the counter. I ordered gyoza which was amazing, meaty, but not rough and overpowering meaty… with just the right amount of cabbage… and thin thin thin skins… fully cooked(so gross, when u get pork that’s bright pinkish. ewwww)…and volcano ramen. The broth is like no other… substantial, tasty, rich, yummy… omg! Go try this place… guam scores because so many Asian tourist they have pretty amazing Japanese food… but this place? Locals dominate… tourists few n far in between… I can relate… save the best for the gang here at home! Lol, if it were only so easy. And make sure u say hi to jenelyn at the front… that girl is on it! Ajisen, give her a raise, a promotion, whatever… she is fabulous, together and professional.

Really like the Chahan and many reasonably priced, nicely portioned appetizers. Volcano all the way! Just the right amount of heat. Great service they were on top of things tonight!

Poor air conditioning, average price, and average service. Broth is more oily than traditional Tonkotsu style. Their hot sauce paste was very very good.

This would be the second time I’ve ever eaten at Ajisen since I frequent their similar competitors. I don’t even remember my first dining experience with them but telling myself their competitor was much better. My experience this time was much different compared to what I had some years ago when they first opened at GPO.(This review was for their Dededo location but I can’t find it on Unilocal) As soon as we entered we were greeted by nearly the entire staff and seated quickly. It was mildy busy so we were fortunate to get a table before customers started pouring in. Service was outstanding, friendly and some of their employees kind of give conversations as much more personal approach. I do enjoy that type of service but it may not be for everyone who are straight to the point. One thing I really noticed was the restaurant had many staff running around so there should be no excuse for slow service. I did order their tea which is probably one of few bottomless options on the menu as I do drink A LOT. Its one of the teas you mix the syrup yourself. Im not a fan of it and neither was it any better than the others I’ve tasted. The menu can sometimes mislead you as their dishes look small. I had to ask their server how many people could it feed. I was shown in gesture how big the plate was and that it could feed 2 people. I had my doubts but like I said, I don’t come here often so it’s time to know for sure. My order was an Ajisen Chahan and Karage Spicy. It surprisingly didn’t take long for us to receive our orders seeing as the restaurant was at 85% capacity at the time. The food servings were bigger than expected. The Ajisen Chahan was served shaped like it was bowl and the Spicy Karage chopped in strips covered with what seems to be spicy mayo sauce.(I’m in no means a Japanese Cuisine expert, lol) First bite of the Spicy Karage I’d say I wouldve preffered to try the regular karage but after a while it wasn’t so bad. I guess it was the heat from the spiciness taking a while to kick in. Still wasn’t a fan of the sauce. The Ajisen Chahan did taste the way I expected, just a few more drops of soy sauce and it was perfect to taste for my tongue. I managed to finish everything with nearly being too full so I’d say the servings are good for 2 or just 1 person if you have a big appetite. I should also add the service was still on point and our teas were constantly filled. I spent less than $ 15 for my meal and it didn’t seem so bad on the wallet if you know how pricing on island is and the understanding of it. Ok, maybe it couldve been $ 2 or $ 3 cheaper but that’s almost the same I pay at a competitor with just plain rice, salad and karage. They do have much more dishes on menu to explore and I definitely had a positive experience to come back to do so.

We were in Guam for six days on vacation and we ate there 4 times. Good ramen, we tried their #1 seller TanTan ramen, very good and meaty. No wonder its their #1 seller. You try it once you crave it the next day! We also tried the cooked mussels with dynamite sauce – mmm good! My kids loved the shoyu ramen. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Oh yeah and spicy ramen was yummy too! Sure to clear your sinus!

This is my go to restaurant for fast and delicious. They maintain a perfect balance between convenience and flavor. Within 10 – 15 minutes of ordering, whether it be in house or for take-out, you are presented with a tasty meal. The soups are varied, the sides are plentiful, and their Yakisoba reminds me of Japan… Ajisen isn’t the best ramen but I challenge you to find anyone making it this good, this fast.
