If I could give zero stars I would. Only thing good here is the atmosphere. All the appetizers were gone and I waited an hour for a pizza that never came. Staff ignored me the whole time and when I finally asked for a check I was ignored. Horrible service.

Great food and service. The redneck nachos are Amazing and the Texas Burger feed 4 adults. Washed it all down with some Landsharks !!!

I love this place. I try go there twice a week. It’s an outdoor bar and grill with a very nice vibe. Nicole and Francine are wonderful. They are very nice and make you feel very welcomed.

Good ambiance(waterfront), terrible service, mediocre food. Came here for dinner on a Friday evening and took a seat inside the restaurant. It’s an open air restaurant(with a large awning covering) against the water, great view. The ambiance and atmosphere are pretty cool and this place wouldn’t be too bad to hangout at… if you literally had all night. Now to the bad. I ordered a cheeseburger and potato salad side. A very simple order, or so I thought, since the restaurant was not crowded at all. After waiting, waiting, and waiting(I waited over an hour, after everyone at my table had already eaten before I got the food) I got a cheap, poorly made, overpriced, mediocre tasting burger. Very disappointed. I wanted to like this place, I really did… but it was a huge swing and miss!

A great outdoor bar with really good grinds! My better half and I frequent this place because we enjoy having good grinds with our drinks! The only thing missing is a few flat tv’s and this place could turn into a really good sports bar! From the pulled pork and bbq brisket sandwiches, to redneck nachos and their signature pizzas! They grill their scratch pizza on bbq pits giving their crispy crusts a nice smokey taste! Recommend the Kevin themed pizza, pulled pork sandwich and redneck nachos! Burgers are champ too! Watch out for the pizza size burger! Built to share with fam and friends!

We always get their pizzas and they never disappoint. Service is always good and quick. My only complaint are the restrooms. They are in a sketchy area of the building and I fear for my safety a bit in the evening. I make my husband go back there with me so I don’t end up getting assaulted by some creeper.

The view is gorgeous and the staff is friendly. I definitely recommend stopping in for a beer. I didn’t really care for my burger but several of my friends had the pizza and they said it was very good. The bathroom is a bit gross but that’s not a deal breaker. It’s a fun place to grab a beer and listen to a live band.

Definitely one of the best spots that I’ve been to since visiting Guam. They have an excellent burger which I had with coleslaw which was also really good(not the overly mayonnaise type that most places eff up). Unfortunately I did choose coleslaw because they don’t serve fries here which is really the only downside to this place. It’s located right overlooking the beach which is super sweet to see at sunset(hence the name). Also they do have a great beer selection. I highly recommend this place for sure! Will be back again… and again.

Redneck nachos($ 11) were so delicious!!! Highly reccomend!!! Texas burger($ 27) can easily feed four people. Yummy well seasoned moist burger but nothing extraordinary about it that made it stand out. Definitely recommend this place! Going back soon to get more nachos and try some other items

this hidden gem was really hard to find, sitting on the beach across from the Harley shop, looks like a navy bar, went with a couple coworkers for lunch(a bunch of hungry nurses), i had the dre burger: i highly recommend it if it is your first time there. the flavor was out of this world, all myh coworkers had a taste and they loved it.

SSG has a really good set of basic menu options available in different combos. Lots of it’s centered around their pulled pork, and the pork is tender and flavorful. It goes great with their huge sets of nachos. Their pizzas and burgers are wonderfully grilled, and have unique and very flavorful combinations. Also, the beers are pretty reasonably priced to offset the somewhat steep food.

We had bacon cheeseburger and the redneck nachos the works everything was fresh burger was good, bun was also good which can be hit or miss on guam. I would definitely go back again. My only negatives would be prices which they are pricy 16.50 for the nachos and 14.00 for the burger, but is a fair price to pay for good and fresh food on Guam every once and a while. Also only seen outside sitting so be aware of this and expect the heat and humidity during the day.

Amazing and off the beaten path! We ordered the Dre Burger and Erika Pizza, and both were delicious. Also love the scenery and laid-back vibe. Great service too! This is definitely a place we will come back to time and time again!

Love their pulled pork! Doesn’t matter if you have a pulled pork sandwich or their redneck nachos that come with pulled pork! This place also has a gorgeous view of the ocean. Unfortunately they don’t seem to get a very good breeze so it can get hot pretty fast. Altogether we really enjoy this place for lunch!

While looking for my first place to have lunch in Guam, I stumbled upon this rare gem. The place has an amazing view of the ocean that I would normally pay an arm and a leg to see. This alone is worth five stars but the quality of food, great service and friendly staff put this restaurant over the top. I ordered Bourbon chicken with roasted veggies and red bean rice. Everything was delicious and it was only $ 15(how many places on the Mainland can beat that w the view?!). In addition, the printed menu and drinks board menu provide great entertainment while I was waiting for my food. They charge $ 50 for destructive kids, $ 10 for sleeping, $ 20 for hassling the bartender… My only complaint is that there was no AC, but that’s the brat in me talking. The outdoor setting actually makes the restaurant more cool!

The best, and closest, quality place to eat next to the base. Hands down. Good people and great food.

I love this place!!! Redneck nachos the works… Amazing! They cook everything on the grill, best nachos I’ve ever had and their pizza is amazing! If they don’t have what you want in a pizza they will gladly make it your way! They even said if they don’t have what we wanted to bring in a topping and they would add it on for us. I am not in Guam any longer, but I will forever search for a place with better nachos than Sunset Grill! They have set the bar! Totally relaxing atmosphere… Miss this place!

Of all the restaurants I visited in Guam, this was the clear standout. The first thing you see walking toward the bungalow styled patio is a smoker off to the left, prepping the next round of main courses. All in all the décor is pretty fab. Not overdone or cheesy, an authentic feel even if it lacks true Chamorro authenticity. Call it expat style if you want I suppose – perfect for wannabe expats like myself. At a restaurant with this much character, I find myself wishing and hoping that the food will be at least good enough that I can return. Indeed, the BBQ is taken seriously and on par with places I have sampled in the South. A group next to us ordered the comically large 1.5-pound Texas burger which was well worth a gander. The cherry on top is the music selection. In line with much of the music on this island, it is nearly all from the 70’s and 80’s – in this case a good mix of album oriented classic rock, giving the restaurant a unique sense of place. Tiki style with great barbecue, a gorgeous lagoon view and classic rock blasting from the speakers. An eclectic island life trifecta.

O’MAZING!!! get me some more till i roll out the door! i could eat at this place very frequently if i was here for a longer period of time, it would definitely be a usual spot for me. i had the Shane burger which was a pulled pork and queso on top of my burger! that was amazing! i hear the nachos are awesome and some of the guys had the pulled pork and one guy in our group had brisket sandwich… they were all very happy and raving about coming back! we were all in great spirits celebrating passing PADI Scuba class and so with this great food it just finished off a non explainable great day! one guy was raving about the pizza so on top of his pulled pork sandwich he ordered a pizza to go and then another guy got a burger to go! so yea food was really good is an understatement i will definitely find my way back here 1 or 2 times before i leave the island

I’ve only been here once for an impromptu lunch with my husband and his co-workers. I was a little put off by the fact that this place is supposed to be a burger joint but specifically notes that they do not serve fries. I’m not a big hamburger person but if I get the craving and decide to indulge, it needs to be paired with perfectly fried cuts of potato. Nevertheless, I opted against the otherwise tasty sounding burgers and my husband and I split a pizza. Was it a life changing pizza that I can’t live without — not so much. Was it so horrifying that I’m permanently put off all pizza forever? Not at all! I was basically neither disappointed or exceptionally impressed. The crust was good but not rock your socks off amazing. Our dining partners who opted for burgers and sandwiches seemed like they had a better idea since they all looked sumptuous and tasty. I guess I also appreciate that you can watch your food being cooked on the outside grills(which explains the severe lack of fries). Food aside, the service was all right. We were never harassed by a hovering or overenthusiastic service staff member nor were we completely ignored. The location was a bit weird at first(particularly since my husband and I are new to the island neither of us are very capable at giving passable directions yet.) I doubt this will be a regular dining spot for my husband and I(though I have a feeling his co-workers may incorporate it into an occasional lunch destination) but I don’t really feel that I have any reason to share any important negative thoughts or impressions of the place. Well, no negative marks save for the bathrooms. Ladies, if you’re choosy about where you tinkle, try to tinkle before and after you leave here. The bathrooms looked like they were going to be janitorial closets before you enter them and were reminiscent of a gas station bathroom or mainland US rest area toilet. I’m sure it’s cleaned regularly and it was stocked with toilet paper, soap, and towels but that doesn’t necessarily make up for the dingy warehouse look and feel of it. But, then again, I’m a somewhat picky pee-er so you can take that assessment with a grain of salt.
