This is a stop on the hop on-hop off bus tour of Augsburg. The winery was closed on Sunday but there was a wooden hut where wines by he glass could be purchased. There were also a few picnic tables to sit at. I think to say they are ‘open’ on Sunday is misleading and almost not worth the stop. But the vineyards are pretty to look at. Note: They only take cash, don’t have any snack foods besides a bag of breadsticks (there’s only one restaurant nearby with food), and speak little English but we managed to still order some tasty wines!

Schöner Laden mit großer Auswahl an Weinen, und alle oder fast alle können direkt vor Ort probiert werden. Toll finde ich auch die schönen Verpackungen und das Schnaps-Angebot. Ob man Wein, Sekt, oder Schnaps für den eigenen Verbrauch oder zum Verschenken sucht, hier wird man fündig und vor allem fachkundig bedient.
Warum ausländische Weine trinken, wenn man doch zwischenheitlich auch hier bei uns vorzügliche Weine findet?
