Distelfarm

Wir waren am 06.01. zum ersten Mal unter dem neuen Besitzer da. Leider war das Lokal sehr wenig besucht und außer uns nur noch ein weiters Paar im ganzen Restaurant. Später waren dann aber noch zwei weitere Tische belegt.
Der Innenraum ist ansprechend gestaltet. Früher war das ja eher eine Spelunke wenn man die noch kennt.
Das personal war freundlich, allerdings wohl noch nicht so lange in Deutschland bzw. in diesem Lokal tätig. Die Speisekarte kannte er inhaltlich nicht, man musste bei der Bestellung immer anhand der Speisekarte genau zeigen was man will. Vermutlich auch weil er der deutschen Sprache nicht ganz so perfekt mächtig war.
Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war ok. Alle 4 Gerichte (2x Schnitzel, 1x Leber, und 1x Salat mit Rindfleisch) waren geschmacklich und auch optisch sehr gut. Die Portionsgrößen sind sehr ordentlich.
Die Preise sind ganz ordentlich. Günstig ist anders. Gerade noch so im Rahmen.
Alles in allem waren wir positiv anngetan und werden sicher irgendwann mal wieder hingehen.

Went there on a Sunday for lunch. Parking is a headache. Their food is good but the forty minutes wait is not. The waitress was new to her job. In every order something was wrong. She tried to be friendly but when my steak that I had asked «well done» came raw/​medium an apology would have been nice. My waiting time was fifty minutes after all. Bring enough cash — no plastic accepted.
And the phone number is useless too. We had tried to call beforehand but only got an answering machine.
There’s room for improvement, guys! The location sure is nice.

This place has a great outside eating area that over looks the vineyard and garden plots. The service was good. We really enjoyed our dinner the steak was cooked perfectly and the cocktails were amazing!
