Stayed for 3 days, it was clean, yet a bit noisy as wall construction quite thin. We were woken two nights by neighbors. The bathroom is extremely small. The rooms are about average for Europe, the location is its best asset. I find the latin quarter the best place to be in Paris. Great muse’s nearby, food, and shopping. The river Seine only a five minute walk as well.

my two sisters and I stayed at Hotel Le Home Latin just this past week. We had the triple room, which had a double in the front room, a full bath and then a separate room with twin bed and toilet. the room was updated, and though the bath was not, it was fully functional and very clean. the desk clerk that greeted us on Sunday was friendly, spoke great English and was perfectly charming. the other clerks we encountered were efficient, albeit not overly chatty. Breakfast had plenty of options, and though a bit high at 10E, completely convenient and fresh. Would go for that option again and fully plan on staying at this tidy, centrally located hotel in our future visits.

My only one-star review, thus far, was of a product that turned out to be PEOPLE. That’s partly because I was hoping the passage of time would erase the memories of THIS place — but no such luck. SO, MOVEOVERSOYLENTGREEN — YOUHAVECOMPANY. I’m embarrassed to explain how I even ended up here a couple summers ago. Paris had been the first leg of a trip where I’d mostly researched and pre-arranged the accomodations, EXCEPT for the final night before the plane ride back. I figured I’d take care of it when I first arrived — I should be able to find a decent room for only one night a couple weeks out, right? QUELLEERREUR. THIS is where I ended up, after finding other hotels booked solid on that date. It looked all right from the outside, and is right next to the well-regarded Hôtel du Collège de France. And on my arrival after a long train ride from Biarritz, the guy at the front desk told me they had«upgraded» my room. Sounds good, right? WRONG. LIVEBUGS in the room! DEADBUGS in the room! On the BED! IN the BED! Also — as if that weren’t enough to charm — the room smelt of SEWERGASES. PASBON. HORRIBLE, ENFAIT! SIJEPOUVAISLEURDONNERDESETOILESNEGATIVES, JELEFERAIS.
