I was desperate, I needed a warm cozy place, with a functioning WiFi to wait for the Finnair bus to leave to the airport. My last few hours in Finland and Helsinki deserved a nice coffee, and a sweet treat and so I found this place. The name is pretty obvious isn’t? You must go inside the store and upstairs to find the actual coffee place. There is a line where you grab a tray and put whatever pastries or sandwiches you want from the bar. Once you reach the cashier you order the drinks, and then they will put it in the tray for you. Place has several power outlets, which will give you a nice charge before you head to wherever you are going. If you want to have a small meeting or chat with a friend, they also have spacious tables, very appropriate for this. Donut was not great, I wish I has used my calories in some other pastry, but the coffee was quite nice. For the purpose I was initially looking for, this was a great fit. On my way back to the airport I was warm and had a 100% battery on my phone. #highfive

Entry to ‘the Coffee House’ is through the shopping store sokos, Jump off your train or bus in the centrum, cross the road heading for Mcdonalds entrance to Sokos, hit the one short flight of stairs up and swing a left. The coffee is always good and the price is always right, at time you will encounter a bit of a que as it can get busy, but take time to relax and soak it up, before you hit the city for some shopping.
