Tap 1 is one of my favourite bigger-ish concert venues and I’ve always liked how good the acoustics are, thinking off how awful it reality should be. The hall itself used to be filled with machinery for making beer and now its empty, just used for concerts and events. Unfortunately, it was decided not so long ago that TAP1 would be removed and new apartments would be built in its place. I’m very happy that I was present for the very last concert at the venue.

Went there yesterday to the Alt-J concert. What a madness! Everyone needed to use the wardrobe! I can understand this and will be coming back at this later(Hang in there, this is important!) Then when finally in the mail hall you could see 6 bars! We Belgians like our beer at concerts so off we went. Let me start my rant: When combining a bar with cocktails… It will take tripple the time to get an order. When afterwards offering to pay by card… Complete mayhemn happens! These little machines aren’t known for there speed and constumor-friendlyness! By the start of the concert I had to queue 45 min to just get one 50DKK pint(with no alcohol in it, me thinks!) Oké then we had a great concert but when the concert ended total and utter madness happened! Everybody needed to go back to the wardrobe where there just wasn’t any system! People pushing, cutting lines and worst of all couldn’t get out is they wanted! Long story short… Concert ended at 22:30, out by 12! What a sad place for a great concert!

I stopped in to visit the Ink Fest in Copenhagen last week. The parking was easy(right across the street). The venue seems a little run down and the access to the event was difficult to by tickets online and also to purchase them at the event was a pain. The show was good however.
