GREAT underrated restaurant! The mango juice, bread dipping sauces, and coco curry were all amazing. The price of a main course was around 120 kr but there was enough food for leftovers. I would definitely recommend going!

I mean, this place cannot be beat when you’re looking for dinner and don’t have a reservation and maybe don’t really know what you want but want something warm and delicious and flavorful. I’ve been hearing the murmurs of Kate’s Joint for at least a year, and finally stumbled upon it right as my tummy started growling. Came in, sat down, was inhaling spinach with lamb and rice in less than 20 minutes. Now that’s what I call #winning. Pro-tip: if you’re REALLY lazy, they deliver.

The food was good, the wait staff super friendly, and the energy was great. We sat at a communal table on little benches. The price was excellent considering the portion and freshness of the food. Will definitely be back!

Kate’s Joint is great. It may seem ironic to eat North African/Caribbean food in Copenhagen, but it’s always packed and very hearty. Maybe my taste buds were overly excited because I hadn’t found a lot of affordable and good ethnic cuisine in Copenhagen up to that point, but I remember only good things. The menu changes often but usually features tender root vegetables, stews and lots of spices. Even my vegetarian friends found a lot to love here. A great place to catch dinner after a day of exploring Norrebro, it’s the best on a cold day(and what day isn’t cold in Copenhagen?)
