The ambiance is very chilled in this place. The food is AMAZING! I had the Lasagna with Gorgonzola, I died and went to heaven eating it. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Definitely a good place to try if you’re in the mood for good Italian food.

Yum yum YUM! I was craving good Italian food because I was having withdrawal symptoms from my Italy trip, and this restaurant did not disappoint! My friend and I came here on a whim one Friday evening around 7, and had to wait about 35 minutes for a table; not a problem — we just went around the corner to Studenterhuset(Student House) for a drink! When we came back, we were seated immediately. My friend ordered the La Perla pizza, and I ordered the tagliatelle with a tomato pesto sauce, both of which were *delicious* and quite large servings! The pizza had a sweeter sauce and a good portion of seafood, and my pasta was perfectly cooked, had the right amount of sauce, and enough meat. Both of us were stuffed by the end, but persevered to polish off our food because we didn’t want to waste a single bite! This wasn’t the BEST Italian food I’d ever had, but it definitely hit the spot and is likely one of the best places in Copenhagen for taste, quality and price point; would recommend!

We had a conference with a few Americans in town and found this amazing restaurant. The wonderful aroma when we walked in made it clear this was an authentic Italian restaurant. We had 14 in our group and the service was impeccable. The food was outstanding as well and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

The Italian comfort food place you know you’ll come back to. I’m so happy I found this place, tucked away in a side street behind the Round Tower. After a disastrous customer service experience at WokShop, I found myself craving some down-to-earth, honest comfort food, like a big plate of steaming pasta. My friend and I had heard about La Perla, and decided to give it a go. When we got there, it was nearly empty, but it was a weeknight and more diners came later. My friend had a pizza, while I chose the bowlful of cream, starch, and cheese that is spaghetti carbonara. It’s like a hug in a bowl! Both were delicious, the pizza has a lovely thin crust and the toppings were fresh and yum. Portions were huge, but it wasn’t a problem to pack the rest up in a doggy bag — lunch, sorted! Prices are more than fair, and I know that I’ll be back here before long.

A great place for great Italian in Copenhagen! The service was fast and they met our every need. The bread was warm and our food came out fast. It’s located in a nice area where you can eat and then walk around some walking streets nearby.

The other reviews were spot on — the best Italian in Copenhagen. Don’t even try Mama Rosas. Spend the money and come here! I had lunch and it was excellent — they have an 80kr lunch special with one pizza or one pasta plus a salad. The pizza was thin, hot and fresh. The caprese salad had good mozzarella cheese and fresh tomatoes. It’s worth the cab fare from the tourist zone, as the prices are substantially cheaper than eating down in tourist town. The best Italian in Copenhagen!

Surprisingly big pizza. Definitely big enough for two. I wasn’t impressed by the service but the pizza was very good. I wish I could come back and try the spaghetti. They were authentic Italian and sat down to cute dinner when we were wrapping up. It was adorable

I’d give it 4.5. The food is great. The staff is very sweet and accommodating. For our class dinner we did a pizza and pasta buffet. So you got a taste of everything and it was delicious. They also accommodated for any allergies. The buffet was more than worth it! I’d come back here again in a heart beat

For an Italian from the USA it was by far the best Italian I’ve had in Denmark. Great service. The food is very authentic.

Amazing experience! Went there for early dinner on a Saturday as a group of 4. Place with very nice Italian decorations(many pictures of famous Italian celebrities, table cloths and all around decoration looks like from an Italian movie from the sixties or seventies). Staff all Italians and loved hearing them talking because it actually made us feel like in Italy. Food delicious! For starters we got vitello tonato, bruschetta and salmon with rucola. All was very good. As main course we got two kinds of pastas and two Pizza capricciosa. Again great food. All in all the experience was amazing, and it is a definitely worth a visit restaurant. Total recommend.

One of the best Italian restaurant I’ve tried. The service is attentive and very friendly, the pasta was al dente and the sauce was amazingly tasty.

The best restaurant we tried in Copenhagen. Personal, very good service here. They have a varied menu of pizzas and pastas. My wifes pasta was a simple tomato/basil pasta but was perfectly done. I made a bit crazier of an order, getting the«La Perla» pizza with shrimps, scallops, brie cheese, and mixed other cheeses. You would think that such a pizza could wind up «soupy» but not at all, this was perfect, an inventive blend of toppings that went well together. We were also happy with the prices, a relative bargain for Copenhagen.
