Seems like a trap for tourists looking for the appearance of danish food. Interior was dated and kitschy, menu was also dated. The previous could easily be overlooked if the food was amazing, however the food was only alight, nothing special.

Well, where should i start… even the coke was tasteless. The food was a slightly better version of what you throw together at home right before you have to leave in a rush. Very tasteless dishes. The service wasnt that impressive either. Bathrooms didnt seem so clean and the camera at the sink was just disturbing and creepy. Burger King next time then.

Not sure what all the rave is about. I was quite excited to try this place after all the positive reviews and we were all rather disappointed. Yes, the place is nice and rustic if a bit cramped and stuffy. As for the food, my niece and I both ordered the roast duck only to find out some time after our orders were taken that they didn’t have it. Why weren’t we informed while we were ordering in the first place? Ordered the roast pork instead which was very dry and nearly inedible. Also rather gross was the halibut. The lamb shank and the salmon were ok. Portions are on the smaller side and prices are a bit obnoxious. Almost $ 160 for four entrees and four beers. Not a fair price for such a mediocre meal.

Pretty incredible meal. We had two fish dishes — the halibut was delicious, lots and lots of butter. I ordered the minced beef thinking it would be something interesting, but it turned out just to be a hamburger without a bun, not too exciting. The most exciting dish was the«crispy pork.» Turned out to be thick-cut and extra deep-fried bacon! Pretty crazy and pretty tasty. Portions were large. We had one appetizer for the 4 of us, and we really didn’t need it. Price-wise, this place is not cheap. Seems to be pretty standard for Copenhagen prices, but be prepared to pay a bundle. There’s an extra fee for using a credit card as well, not very cool. I’d say that if you skip the appetizer and stick to water you might be able to make this into an affordable meal.

Nice choice of platters. Friendly service. However, charging an extra fee for those who pay with credit cards is unacceptable. Especially in a non € country.

Delicious Christmas dinner plate. The dinner plate comes with pickled herring, smoked salmon, brie, roasted pork, fish cutlet, and a pudding dessert. The roasted pork with red cabbage is amazing! Definitely a must try dish, but a tad pricey. Go with the roasted pork dinner if you just want meat. The pickled herring was surprisingly tasty.
