Vegetarian BBQ burger was not very tasty and quite small. Cheeseburger good. The milkshake is ok but could taste of more. Fries good but the original dip doesn’t taste of much. Too expensive for fast food.

First and foremost the 4 stars are in comparison with other fast food chains like McDonalds and Burger King. The burgers are sooooo much better and tastier than other chains. I got a new burger on the menu(Bacon BBQ Dream) — 49DKK and a JR bacon– 15DKK with a small coke– 18DKK. The burgers were really good(again in comparison with other fast food chains) with nice and crunchy vegetable in. The place looked also pretty clean(I was there pretty early on a Friday). Good location . I would always choose this place over Mc or BK.

I passed by Max’s whole strolling through downtown Copenhagen and remembered to get a bite there on my way back. I got the classic burger which was ready very quickly, and it was juicy and yummy. I looooove good cheeseburgers. The cashier was sweet and helpful. The background music was pretty relaxing and the restaurants furniture and walls were so clean and white. I’m glad I checked this place out.

Basic fast food chain burger place. Standard stuff. Nothing special and not very cozy but a clean decent place. Ok deals on a lunch burger.

I’ve sworn to get into a healthier lifestyle so that includes saying bye-bye to beloved junk food, but for a really really bad day when I’m craving burgers and the likes, I’d definitely rather go here than the golden arch or the B king. Their burgers seem fresher and have better quality. Obviously cannot be compared with«gourmet burgers» that are popping in Copenhagen like mushroom in autumn season, but a little bit more decent burger than those others in their class. Besides, I’ve been a fan ever since I lived in Norway long time ago. The service here is fast. There are a couple of automatic machines where you could order your menu from(a bit negative point is that you can only order menu(as in burger, drink and sides — and I don’t know how to order JUST sides from those machines). Even if you go to the counter, the guys behind the counters give service with a smile. I’m currently in love with their«luxus fries» but I only allow myself to fall into the«craving sin» once a month.

This is a Swedish burger chain with a location right on one of the main squares. My wife was patient enough to try some of the more out there Danish places with me, so we went for some old-fashioned hamburgers. We got two different burgers that wound up being just about exactly the same, a good thick portion of beef with cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion, jalapenos, and a sauce, which was just a little different between our burgers. The meal is only a little bit more than the sandwich, and comes with thin-cut fries and a drink. They do charge for refills. They also charge for sauce and ketchup packets. When you keep the extra charges in mind, it really isn’t much cheaper than some of the sit down places. Better than McD’s though. 2.5 stars.

I found the food there are so much better than McDonalds, especially the french fries. Of coruse, also a bit more expensive than the other fast food brands. But still acceptable.

All I can remember that night at Max Hamburger was a hippie Frenchie who was really impatient while waiting in line. He went up to the counter and said, «Excuse moi, can I get a HAMburger?». Yeah I’m pretty sure this guy was drunk out of his mind because he was blabbering about all sorts of incoherent things. He was asking my friend some other questions too. Granted it was about 05:00 in the morning, this was the best food option we had. Max Hamburger attracts the hangeover crowd. I ordered onion rings but they ran out so they substituted fries and Mozzarella sticks instead. My friend ordered a hamburger. We found the Danish version of White Castle! Hahaha…

They claim to be the best burger place in the world and honestly to me they are, as for a fast food. Interior is disgusting, but you can grab a burger, beer from seven eleven in front and sit on the fountain in the middle of that plads. This will be one of the precious summer moments.

Swedish burgers chain. Rather disappointing, the«beef» did not seem to be made from beef but rather some porky substance, like the cheapest kind of frozen hamburgers. The side orders are nice, though, and the milk shake is good.

Fellow Unilocaler, Have you ever been to Mickey D’s? Well, this is the Danish branch of the Swedish version. What does this mean, you ask? Well, you get pretty much what you get with McD’s, with the difference that burgers in this place are cooked to order, and thus feel less plasticky than burgers in other fast-food chains. Gotta love that Scandinavian touch. What should you get, you ask? Well, I had the Grande De Luxe triple cheese along with fries with jalapeños, bacon and melted cheese. They were A-OK, just like their price. Should you visit? Well, it depends. I was curious to see what that burger tasted like(looked thick and juicy in those huge billboard ads downtown) and had no time to go to a proper restaurant, and was just passing by, so, it just clicked. Not sure if I’d go there again though. I mean, it’s great for a fast-food joint, but it’s still a fast-food joint, and there are too many good restaurants out there, and too little time left to visit them all before some doctor tells you you need to cut down on salt and sugar. So why spend that precious little time you have in a fast-food joint? Yours faithfully, Nik

Great fast food burger joint. The burgers are very good and the fries with jalapeños, onions and melted cheese are the best. Their milkshakes are much better than other fast food burger places especially the blueberry one :) Staff are pretty friendly.

Got 2 onion rings with our order, which seemed a bit low for the price. Furthermore the burger tasted like a bad cheap burger you get at takeaway restaurants in Denmark. A very disappointing experience. Fries was oki, why it gets 2 stars and not 1.

Okay I don’t know what the hype is all about but I can’t complain if its cheap. Snagged some coupons from my school and got 25 dkk rabat for the classic max burger meal. Fries, drink and a burger for 37 dkk? Say it ain’t so! I have to say though, the quality is about the same as McDonalds. I really hate false advertising cause the burgers look so juicy and fresh but what I opened up was not a plump juicy patty but a flat one that looked like McDonald’s or one of the frozen ones you get at Netto… The fries are okay though, a little better than McDonald’s and it’s not as greasy. The other thing, I felt a little intimidated since the whole menu was in Danish and I’m still learning. Being a design snob, the whole experience and interior of Max Burger gets a B from me for design. I love the lighting, the seating and furniture. I love the white interior and the graphics by the disposal area. I wish it was more friendly for non — Danish speakers cause it was a little confusing on figuring out where to throw what and the pictograms weren’t as strong. Nonetheless, I like this place a little more than McDonald’s but probably not enough to make me a regular. Maybe if I get desperate and hungry again and not wanting to spend too much on lunch. Free wifi by the way, which is another plus.
