Efficient service, quality food, modern atmosphere! The place was recommended to me by a local Unilocaler, and it was awesome I had a wonderful last meal in Prague there. The rolls were amazing, and so were the chicken noodles. The lighting was very fancy I reckon, my table was very well lit and it made the meal more enjoyable. I put it as a strong point because I was really feeling a difference compared to other places. Obviously the food isn’t very typical from Czech Republic but a nice pad Thai restaurant is always welcome. Very good food, ambiant and chill music playing, lighting on point don’t let the front of the restaurant repelled you for its chain look alike it is authentic cuisine.

Zebra Express is an oasis in Europe where Asian food or cuisines other than Czech, Italian or Tourist fare is hard to find. The dishes were freshly prepared with fairly authentic flavours. That day I had the Ped Phad Khing(Stir fried crispy duck) while my friend had the Phad Kra-Pao(Fried meat with garlic, chilli, green beans, onion, basil, served with jasmin rice and a fried egg on top. The Phad Kra-Pao was definitely worth ordering, the duck dish had a few strips of duck that were tough and chewy. The flavours for both dishes were good but the quality and quantity of the duck in my dish was certainly disappointing. Prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend this as a good alternative when one is tired of European fare. We had just finished a week in Germany and had had our fill of bread and wurst and schnitzel.

They say they kitchen works until midnight. Booked a table for 11:00 pm. Got there at 10:50pm and they didn’t let us in. They advice me to go to the other Zebra, and after walking there with heavy rain, they didn’t let us in either. I consider this very impolite and unprofessional from their side. I don’t think I’ll be back after this shameful experience.

Good food, sloooow service. Had Tom yum soup, pad Thai, another dish, and sticky rice with coconut and mango. All was quite tasty and reasonably authentic. However, threw was nothing«express» about it. I finished the soup and half of my dish before my daughter’s pad Thai showed up. Big mistake ordering dessert — it took another 25 minutes for them to put a scoop of sticky rice, a dollop of coconut milk and 4 tiny slices of mango on a plate. I lived in Amsterdam for 3 years, so I understand, but more than 2 hours there is ridiculous. It’s too bad because Zebra Express is steps from our hotel and we really wanted it to be our go-to when we needed tasty, quick(dare I say«Express»?) food while we’re here this week.

I’m a little torn on this place. Firstly, open until midnight apparently doesn’t mean serving until midnight, we were turned away just before 11. My partners green curry was good(if hot!), but my dim sum was only ok.

Very good food and quick, friendly service. I tried the spicy crispy duck dish and it was great. Recommended.

yummy, phad with premium beef is awesome, very close to the original Chinese food. But it’s too spicy and hot, and very salty. Very fast, not expensive,

Came here for dinner as was in the mood for something not so meat and potatoes in nature… ordered Dim Sum along with some Pad See Ew. Dim sum was really good and tasty… pad See Ew was ok and could have used a but more flavor, but overall great Asian food for Prague. Would definitely in the mood for something out of the norm…

Amazing! If you are in Prague and you want really good(and quick!) Thai food, this is the spot. It was so good, I wish I had gone back before I had left. I had Thai tea, Thai chicken salad(so good and so fresh!) and Phad Kee Mao Kai and each dish was perfect. Service was excellent and it was a cute little spot. If ever in Prague again, I will be back!

I’ve eaten here about a dozen times. The food is great and the atmosphere is casual. My favorite is the pad thai, but I’m not a big fan of the bean sprouts on there so they let me sub them out for carrots and broccoli at no extra charge. Only complaint is that it tends to be super hot inside the restaurant. The food quality and prices are both great.

I was not expecting decent Thai in Prague, but here’s to be being surprised. The phad thai and green curry were both perfectly acceptable Thai food if not the best I’ve ever had. The phad thai was very yummy, but phad thai is like pizza: good when it’s bad and amazing when it’s good. The green curry was actually spicy and the carry out looked like they didn’t have enough sauce, but I found a bunch of it at the bottom of the rice. Green curry is harder to get right and this was surprisingly good. The thai fried rice wasn’t anything to write home about, but was pretty generically appealing. The«dim sum» were actually just normal dumplings/gyoza, not what an American would think of as dim sum or even dim sum dumplings. The only last note was that while phad see eew was on the menu online, it wasn’t something I could get them to take down over the phone and might not be on their menu at all anymore.

We LUV this place. 2nd time in 3 days and staff & food is excellent! Even cheered a free glass of champagne for Bday thanks to Marty! Will definitely miss here. Had the Pad Thai and it was great! So was the grill meat. Easy to find right around corner of Palladium. Great trendy spot!

Service: Walked in and were seated immediately. Dylan music playing. We asked for chicken soup, a small beer, a liter of water with citrus and mint, hot tea, pork and shrimp dim sum, and chicken Pad Thai. Drinks were immediately brought over. A waiter brought a small teapot of hot water and a box with different teas to choose from. 5 star The place is nicely done. Enough room at each table. Good décor. 4 star Food: water had a subtle mint/citrus flavor that was not overbearing. The Lobkowicz beer? It’s Prague. The beer is always good. The pork/shrimp Dim Sum and sauce were also good. My wife declared the chicken soup very good.(She has a head cold so this was the right stuff). Very favorable and fresh ingredients. Has a little crispy chopped pepper on top. The Chicken Pad Thai was my first ever. Had fresh herbs and sprouts in it. Chopped peanuts on the side to mix in. It had enough Chicken. Very good flavor. Even with my poor Chopstick ability, I cleaned the bowl. With this experience, I’m going to try it again back in the States. It was very good. 5 stars Overall, a great experience. Come back again. Definitely.

Taking into account their excellent location Zebra Express’s prices are something you can hardly complain about. Especially since the dishes offer pretty good quality, too. Honestly, if you crave a bit of Thai, this is one of the best places to go for to grab a bite. If only all of the dishes were a bit closer to the originals in terms of ingredients and taste — then it would definitely be a 5-star-rating, no doubt!

Ok, to be fair, I am Texan and therefore enjoy my spice, and Thai food here in the Southwest US is pretty spicy most of the time. Zebra Express is not spicy by US standards, but it is flavorful by Czech standards. Service was good, menu was easy to understand, and selection was quite good as well. I had Chicken Pad Thai, my go-to Thai food, and it was pretty good. Not the best, and could have done with more spice, but that is my preference. Compared to other Thai places in Prague, it was definitely above average.

Went there without real expectation and loved it. The crispy duck was simply amazing and tasteful. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant itself looks nice! Would recommend this restaurant to any Asian food aficionados!

Never expected to find great Thai food in Prague. Went here because it was very close to our hotel and I’m so happy I did. Staff was very friendly and food was amazing. Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Gone try to go again before heading back to Geneva with not many good Thai restaurants. So bottom line, if you’re in Prague and don’t want to go to another Czech restaurant give this place a chance.

This is a great cozy Thai place that I honestly think it a great addition to this area. We went there for a Unilocal event, but I am still assuming the staff is always as friendly, smiling and helpful even if we came alone. The meals here were very good, spicy, flavorful and you can tell the cooks enjoy what they are doing. They all seemed authentic from Thailand and knew what they were talking about food wise and even taught us some words in Thai! Overall great place, great food, great service, we will be back!

I love love love love love this place. The food is always amazing, that perfect mix of flavor and spice, with perfect portions for two people to share everything, if you are so inclined. Even more amazing than the food, if that is possible, is the wait staff. They always seem to be on it, quick amazing service, super friendly, just perfect. I am already jonesing for it again.

Ok, this restaurant is definitely worth to visit. I don´t know where to start :-) First of all location and inner enviroment. It´s in a centrum, perfectly placed in the Celetná street which goes from Powder Tower to Old Town Square. I felt really comfortable there. It´s nicely decorated and it feels very nice. Restaurant is like one big room where are not only tables and seats but also kitchen so you can watch how is your meal being prepared. I love that. Meals are delicious. You can clearly see that the cooks are from Thailand and they do it with love. I can honestly say that you can´t pick a wrong meal here, except if you don´t like spicy food and you order one :-) I also recommend a red tea… awesome. And the last but not least, the service. Smiley, helpful and very kind(which is kind a rare in a tourist´s centrum of Prague). And another plus is that you don´t have to wait for too long for a meal. Everything goes pretty fast, even if the restaurant is crowded so it´s perfect expecially for a lunch, but dinner is of course ok too. I know that I maybe used too many over positive words, but you know, we haven´t many good Thai restaurants here in Prague and this one is really really good. Check it and than tell me if I am wrong or not :-)
