It’s a nice restaurant located on the way to Old Town Square close the Powder Tower. The place is not very big and often crowded. The ground floor looks like a big old cellar with stone walls. Apart from that, there are no other interesting decorations. They offer delicious Czech food, their risottos are also tasty. They even have pizza in menu, but I haven’t tried it. The drinks offer is rather«nothing special» including average tea and coffee. The waiters are friendly and speak English, the service in general is very good. In the evenings, there is a live violin and guitar music.

The roast duck was dry, the goulash was good but not the best in Prague. The BBQ pork was good but still needed some help. It was a bit disappointing but not bad either. The beer was the best part of the menu.

Just like the other review we were quite tired and hungry when we viewed the menu. There was a man who came to encourage us or come in; their menu included some continental entrees and Czech food. We tried it. The location in an alley and there were violin music going on. Very nice and attentive service. We had the duck and ribs: we were hungry and ate 1⁄3 of each of our entrée. There were also the potato cakes that were yellow and gooey… the meat tasted like they were do-over and smoked. No sauces to go with the dry meat… the bread was the best of them all. Hope they do well only if they pay attention to the quality of the food… And another thing, don’t know if it’s just me but there was smell of sewer in the alley way:(The two stars for the location and trying hard to please. But the food we are not able to recommend…

This place is alright — hidden in an alleyway along celetna, it might be a pickle to find if you were trying to look for it. But if you were just wandering downt he street looking for somewhere to eat, the charming place might catch your eyes. They have your typical czech fare, and I was a bit tired of it at this point, so I had a somersby cider, and a seabass to go with it. A coworker of mine ordered a pizza, which was rather large and tasty. My seabass came whole, and not grilled as advertised, but fried, which made the whole thing quite difficult to eat. Thankfully another coworker knew how to filet a fish and did it for me. The food itself was nothing special. I barely ate half of it. The ambiance is cool though and i really enjoy the terrace. The service was good. Everything was okay overall.
