It’s a dirty take-away restaurant. There’s no chairs but there’s a counter along the wall for people who wanna eat there. I’m Vietnamese visiting from California. I wanted to check out the restaurant because it got high rated on Trip Advisor. I had phở and egg rolls. They both tasted bad. This restaurant wouldn’t survive in California

Heard so many great things about this place so I had to check it out. On first glance it looks very small, a bit shady but we went in anyway. The staff is a bit blah, barely even acknowledge you when you walk in the door. The food is made to order here, so this is an advantage and disadvantage. If you are in a hurry, still be ready to wait 10 minutes for your food. There is a limited menu, but mostly everything is under 120 crowns for a meal. Their meals are quite large and mostly are meat and rice or vegetable dishes. I will say this, I watched them make it and it all seems quite healthy and they don’t add any msg or unneeded ingredients like most Phở/Asain restaurants do. I got the chicken and rice with vegetable dish, and although it was tasty, it was not the best Phở I have ever had by any means. More of a ‘you’re in the area and hungry so you go here’ type of situation. Would I go out of my way to come back here? No probably not as I am never really in this area and frankly it was not that spectacular of a meal.

For me it’s definitely the best place in Prague where you will get great Vietnamese spring rolls. They also sell at the same time excellent Phở– bo and other Vietnamese dishes. To all at great prices. One spring roll for 30,-. The food here is truly authentic, without any frills, food that you can eat standing up at the bar and tables or take it with you. In summer you can eat food in the nearby park Riegerovy sady or directly in front of the bar with a bistro table. Do not expect any posh interior design. It’s just a bistro as it should be serving the best Vietnamese food in Prague to go. It is interesting that this is a family business. The staff here is always ultra fast and friendly. So highly recommended!! Go!

Dear Phở place, I love you and have from the moment I met you two and a half years ago. You are the best hangover food and my go to when I am sick. You are the yumminess I seek when I am home sick and need good Asian cuisine. I love that you are literally a two minute walk from my house, so I don’t have to travel across town to bask in the depth of my love for you. Thank you for being in my life. Sincerely, Me.

We are from New York and craving some Asian food after days of eating western food. Unfortunately we looked it up on Unilocal and didn’t expect the walk will be so long from our hotel(30 min up hill)… But– we are so grateful that we made it, coz the noodles and spring rolls are very authentic compare to New York Chinatown standard. Food is inexpensive and well cooked. The only thing though, I wish they have chairs.

The very best spring rolls in Prague and one of the best in Europe(we just tried one in Paris and Prague Phở was much better). The place itself is ugly, but I do not care, food is superb …
