I usually like them on food festivals and events but I don’t like to order them home anymore. The meat was low grade and mostly fat and had to pick out most of the fat and veins from the meat before putting it back on. The upside to this is that the fries, the peanut sauce and the sriracha ketchup are amazing! Couldn’t give one star because I usually like these kinds of sandwiches and This place has some of the best.

Absolute must if you’re in Prague. Amazing amazing sandwiches and extremely friendly staff. My only complaint is that they don’t have this place in the US!

AWSOMELITTLEGEM. Who knew that a Vietnamese restaurant in Prague would be so good. Was staying in the area in an Airbnb and I needed a quick lunch before heading to the airport. This popped up on my Unilocal and it had truly five star reviews. I had to check it out. The food is great the prices are great there is limited seating so you may have to take away. Try it if you can this place is awesome.

Yes fantastic Banh Mi’s in Prague. I tried the special and BBQ Banh Mi sandwiches and both were fantastic, with tender meat, a bit of spice, and fresh toppings. The Vietnamese guy working the counter speaks English which is a plus for me. 75 czk(about $ 3) for a sandwich. Not much space to sit inside so I recommend getting food to go, and walking up the street to Prague Beer Museum where you can sit outside with a tasty cold beverage to go with your food.

My wife and I came out here from Old Town during our trip in Prague due to the excellent reviews. It’s a decently long trek away from Old Town Square, but highly worth it(even despite my wife and I getting lost on the way). We ordered the Special Banh Mi and the chicken phở. The phở was tasty though not extraordinary, but the banh mi more than made up for it. There are plenty of good banh mi places back home, so my expectations were high, but Mr Banh Mi exceeded them. We would definitely go back if we returned to Prague.

Better than most banh mi I’ve had in the states. Not used to mayo on it but the special is pretty special. Do yourself a favor and go get one. They’re super nice there as well.

Holy crap, these are good sandwiches! You might have had them at a food festival and thought — yeah, not bad. But getting them fresh is another world — I ate a second one, even thought the first one filled me up. And dirt cheap. Man, am I glad they are in Prague.

Disclaimer: I am writing this as a German Döner-Kebab fiend, not as a banh mi expert! Until a week ago I didn’t even know that«Vietnamese Sandwiches» were a thing. Now I am a fan. It’s the perfect Vietnamese-Czech alternative to Turkish-German Döner Kebap. It’s a quick and dirty meal, but still nutritious, has got a touch of healthy green stuff in it and is overall just very, very tasty. We had the Bun Bo Nam Bo(100czk), a classic Vietnamese dish with rice noodles and beef and said Banh Mi sandwich(60czk): The first one on the menu. Both dishes were great. I haven’t ever had an especially bad Bun Bo anywhere, but with this one even the quality of the meat was superb. Nicely done! The sandwich was a surprise, though. Just because it penetrated my taste buds in a way that normally only a Döner Kebab can. Awesome. The prices are excellent, I think, and I also saw people eating french fries. They looked amazing but since they weren’t on the menu I forgot to ask what that side order is all about. Next time. Because there will be a next time, definitely! By the way: There are vegetarian options, too! Update: After a lot of very good experiences with the Banh Mi Special especially, I was going for the meatball sandwich today. Big mistake. Everything about the sandwich was superb, as usual — apart from the meatballs. Almost every one of the meatballs in my sandwich had something in it that was way too chewy and icky to be contained in a meatball. Sorry, have to deduct one star for the time being…
