This place does everything(that we’ve had) perfectly. Their wine and beer are great, and their food is just outstanding. Considering this is in a relatively touristy spot, with great views, awesome seating(though each side of the restaurant has a different vibe) and really good prices, I just can’t see what’s not to love? Their vegetable soup(in 2014) was fantastic, as was the simple beef goulash with potato dumplings. In 2015 we returned and had their foie gras(delicious), their mushroom potato gnocchi(potato gnocchi in a black salsify foam with slices of black truffle and roasted bacon from the butcher) — to die for! And their French corn-fed chicken(filled with vegetables with buttery tagliatelle and a red wine sauce) which was succulent, juicy, and cooked to perfection. We’ve never had anything but great service and can’t wait to go back on our next trip!

The waiter had trouble recommending wine. Local«signature» cocktails use weird combinations of herbs and in general just spoil most of the traditional cocktails(Manhattan with thyme is just awful). Food was not bad although the service is not exactly professional(for example, you are asked to pass them the empty plate etc.). The view is nice.

We spent our New Years eve in the tower restaurant. The set up was nice and we enjoyed the view. We were wery happy with the 5 course meal. We paid 7000kc for the tickets which included the meal, entertainment and glass of shampagne. It was ok but for the price we paid I would expect better entertainment and much more professional staff. The servers were unorganized.

No words need to be lost about the great view… Try the cucumber lemonade, sounds weird, is extremely delicious! So is the sous vide beef and the chicken supreme.

This place really does have a very nice view. Overall the food is good, the servers speak at least a bit of english and the interior is very classy. My first impression of here was a good one considering when we walked in the door they greeted us with champagne! We did make a reservation(which I suggest you at least call to see how busy it is before trying to go) and the staff is very friendly. The service is quite slow here though… the reason I had to give it 4 stars. If I have to chase you down for another drink or more bread this is not 5 star service. On to the food, I had the Gnocchi with pesto sauce(the dish actually comes with a cream sauce but they will happily substitute) which was homemade, delicious but sadly very small portioned… I do tend to eat a good amount so really I could have had 2 of these to actually be full. I can not really complain about the quality though. My guests had the veal filet special with dumplings and the chicken supreme. Both were decent size portions(especially the chicken) good amount of meat and side dish. Both were also quite good, especially their brown gravy was nice. We also had some special drinks(non alcoholic) from their menu. I would recommend their citrus ginger lemonade! It was refreshing and made with fresh ginger, lemon and pomegranate. Overall I did enjoy the view, ambiance and food but would most likely not go back because the portion size and the slow service.
