Papy Pizza

At 3am after a night of drinking and dancing what do you want? Pizza!!! This place is the place to go during those early hours of the morning when the rest of the world is sleeping and you are wondering home dying for something to snack on.
Of course you can also grab some pizza during the day however this place is a gem after a night out with your buddies.
I love their green aji salsa. They almost always run out by the evening but if you grab a slice of pizza or an empanada during the day try their green salsa. It’s surprisingly spicy, I have no idea what is in it, all I know is when they have it in full stock I can‘t stop eating it.
Pappy Pizza is nothing fancy, but they have definitely mastered the simplicity of their product. Their pizzas are small but made with mostly fresh ingredients and cooked right in front of you.

This is THE place to go in barrio Bellas Artes when it’s 4 am and you are hankering for some greasy/​deliciously cheesy food (ie the drunk munchies or in Chilean «un bajón»).
While everywhere else is closed, the crew at Papy Pizza bakes fresh pizza and empanadas throughout the night to keep our drunk tummies happy.
Not only do they have one of the best mushroom empanadas (and you don’t want to miss their swiss chard empanadas either– for 800 pesos!) in town, but also some delicious, kind of unconventional, pizza.
They serve square pizza with all different types of toppings — such as corn, ham, mushroom and basil for the AMAZING price of 700 pesos the quadratic slice.
While you are waiting, you can talk to the super nice staff and bakers — they are always really fun to talk with and joke around as they bake your order in their large stoves right in front of you.
Once you get your order, you can go to the «bar» to add their salsas such as their special green «aji» that is pretty delicious (if they don’t have some out — ask for it!).
Papy’s has just as many veggie options as they do for meat eaters — their cheese, corn and basil empanada is to die for! They also sell pan amasado as well as ayuya and criollitos and quiche (oh my!). I suggest buying your bread or quiche for breakfast the next morning so you don’t need to leave the house ;)
Although it can be packed during the twilight hour, it is definitely worth the stop — plus the prices are perfect after spending most of your money at the bar.
Also, don’t forget to feed the dog that gaurds Papy Pizza (if you live close he might even accompany you to your house).

Si te pilla el bajón cerca del barrio Bellas Arte una de las mejoras opciones es la amasandería «Papy pizza», es el único local abierto hasta la madrugada y tiene todo tipo de alternativas para matar el hambre después del carrete.
Las pizzas son geniales, en especial la de champiñón y la de albahaca, la masa es muy rica y se pueden comer en el local o pedir para llevar. Hay empanadas de muchos sabores, pollo queso, acelga queso, pino, napolitana, vegetariana, etc. Y muchas opciones mas, pan, quiches, y unas pascualinas buenísimas, lo mejor es que todo hecho en el momento.
Quizás no es la panadería más linda, pero no hay que dejarse llevar por las apariencias, los precios son muy convenientes y la comida que venden es de primer nivel, 100% recomendable.

Pizzas y empanadas pa la gente como una que pasa mucho por Bellas Artes y que con $ 1000 te sientes millonario. Y con $ 2000 ya te puedes reventar comiendo. Porque ya todos sabemos que pasar por aquí a una hora indiscriminada, amarrar la cletita en los bicicleteros que están un poco más allá y comprarte hasta 2 trozos de pizza y hasta compartir una bebida, puede ser un lujo a las 4 de la mañana.

La mejor alternativa cuando sales de carrete se hace tarde y estas por la zona.
En esta amasadería puedes encontrar, porciones de pizzas, empanadas, sandwiches, etc.
Todo lo que te apetece comer a esas horas antes de regresar a casa.
Si bien es cierto, que no es la mejor calidad que puedas comer, la camisa no es mala, y a esa hora todo es una maravilla para el estomago, ¿por qué dará tanto hambre?. El valor es súper asequible los productos están entre 2000 y 3000 pesos, y con eso estas listo para volver a casa!
Ya sabes, si estas por la zona en monjitas tienes tu propio restaurante hasta bien tarde!
