Harbour’s Edge B&B is one of Yarmouth’s finest lodging experiences. We have 4 rooms with private baths and the 2 acre property is situated at the head of Yarmouth Harbour. Deluxe home cooked full breakfasts make lunch redundant. Our webcam allows visitors all over the world to watch the tide ebb and flow. Our visitors check this long before they arrive and long after they leave. Bird watching is a popular pastime for guests. Hawks, Egrets, Herons, Willets, Terns, Ducks, Gulls, Woodpeckers, and numerous songbirds all frequent the property at Harbour’s Edge. Come and see for yourself!

History

Established in 1997.

The Dares’ purchased the property in 1994, 5 years after a devastating fire. They carefully and painstakingly restored the home to it’s former glory and opened the B&B so that the visiting public could enjoy this great old house. The Province of Nova Scotia recognized the hard work by awarding the Dares with the 1997 Historic Restoration Award for the Province of Nova Scotia. After 15 years in business, the Dares’ have hosted thousands of guests and made many friends all over the world.
