This is the worse place I have ever been to in my life. Have never seen anything like it in my life, if I didn’t know better I’d say the woman who did my colour has never coloured hair before and is colour blind. I paid 350.00 for the colour and cut, and had to go to another colour technician elsewhere and pay another 250.00 to get the colour corrected, horrible, horrible, horrible.

I bought a coupon from deal ticker that entitled me to laser hair removal sessions. Here is my experience: First I could not book an appointment for more than a month after I bought the voucher(March 7th or 8th2011 was the purchase date). I actually called Mane Society the day after purchasing the coupons but had to call back the next week as I could only book an appointment when the technician was in. This was fine as I didn’t mind waiting, I knew I was getting a deal and was excited about getting good results. I bought two vouchers wanting to get my full arms done. I got no reminder call from the salon about my appointment… considering it is made one month in advance this would be courteous of them but I guess not all salons do that. Upon arriving I waited 5 – 10 min for the technician but was not offered any«complimentary’ snack or beverage as is stated in the highlight section on the deal ticker coupon. Why list those as a highlights if you don’t offer them to customers? Lastly my appointment lasted about 5 minutes. I don’t believe the technician even covered my full arms, just patches of it as she quickly went up my arm ONCE. She did not go over any area again. This is not correct as it is clearly stated on the deal ticker site that Each large area session lasts on average, approximately 30 – 45 minutes. I was under the impression I was getting full laser sessions… not micro sessions that were not even being carefully done. In the discussion posts on deal ticker I was told I needed 6 – 9 sessions to achieve good results. When I arrived the technician said I would need more than 10! So basically I would have to pay full price for additional sessions to achieve good results. Also in the discussion for the deal the technician herself said she HIGHLY recommended that you do not allow more than 4 weeks in between treatments for best results. I could not even book a treatment within 4 weeks due to availability. So it seems like achieving good results is also completely out of my hands. Overall the salon looked nice and the technician(CJ?) was very nice as well. It was just that she didn’t do what was advertised or what i would consider a good laser job with or without a coupon! In addition on further visits I would have to wait sometimes 15 min or more and nobody was in the salon. It was like they just wanted me to wait. I never noticed anyone leaving or entering the salon. Anyway I just wanted to let people know about this experience as if you buy a deal for this salon BEWARE! *These are the appointments I booked. appointment 1: Apr 23 appointment 2: June 4 — 6 weeks appointment 3: July 14 — 5 ½ weeks I did not complete the sessions as I asked for a refund.

Salon practices unethical and unequal customer treatment. In March Salon participated on DealTicker, advertizing their lazer services for a fraction of the price. Several of my friends, including myself, have purchased these vouchers. However, it seems that salon’s staff book your appointments based on whether you have a voucher or not! If you call in and let them know that you have a voucher, they will book you no sooner than 1 – 2 months, stating that they are super booked. If however you DONOT let them know you have a voucher, they book you as soon as the following day! This was tried tested and true by a number of people calling in randomly and testing out the staff. This is an extremely unproffesional and rude behaviour on Salon’s behalf. Step up to your end of the bargain and honour all cutomers equally, and not based on whether they have your voucher or not. Salon initiated its participation in the Deal site, and therefore should behave accordingly, and not hope that customers who purchased vouchers would forefit using them because they can’t get an appointment soon enough. Absolutely apolled by this type of behaviour! Signed: A group of unhappy customers
